Narrator-
Cara breathed heavily, her eyes staring angrily at Jason, who on the other hand was calmer than the sea at sunrise. While Cara panted from her struggles, which she attempted every once in a while, Jason had no problem holding her in this position. He studied the way she excited herself while trying to escape him. His grip on her wrists did not relent, which resulted in a thin lining of sweat to form between their skins. She said nothing more and placed all her energy in her fight to remove her body from his, but the harder she tried, the more Jason pushed their intertwined hands into the small of her back, forcing her to flush as close as possible against him.
Cara frowned when she realized that she was now fully plastered against Jason's form. Her shoulder muscles were already tense, and her neck was enveloped in a dizzying heat. Being so close and personal with Jason caused Cara to feel helpless, and as much as she wanted to take another bite at gun, she only wished to do so from a safe distance. When Cara gave in to Jason's request, he noticed the resolution settle in her eyes. The fight subtly diffused from her orbs, as the excited light was dissolved in her eyes.
Jason lifted his chin, just as Cara, in a defeated manner said, "please."
Jason rose an eyebrow at her plea, then he chuckled before removing his grip from her wrists. Cara wasted no time in backing away from Jason while rubbing her wrists. She frowned while placing as much distance between herself and Jason, who now stood casually, as if all was well.
"Have a seat." He instructed Cara.
She looked at him with a sharp glare, while her hands still pet the skin on her wrists. Her chest was still pumping soft pants across her slightly parted lips, and her face was heavy with a dark furrowed brow. Jason leaned his head to the side just slightly, which served as a warning for Cara. Not wanting another round with Jason, she walked to the couch and sat down. Jason didn't show his impression to her compliance, given that she was hesitant, and instead he walked to the door and leaned against it, while his hands were in his pockets, and he stared at Cara.
Meanwhile, Cara tried her best to hold eye contact, but eventually she looked away with a huff.
Jason angled his head to the side again while watching Cara, then he said, "I thought about the proposal you made earlier, and I'm willing to agree on just one term."
Cara looked at Jason, and instantly felt skeptical about his words. Then she turned and focused her gaze on the wall next to Jason's form.
Jason remained silent.
Cara knew it would be best if Jason didn't have to repeat himself, so pursing her lips forwards, Cara licked the nook between her incisor and canine teeth before asking, "what term?"
"The punishment will be quite simple, you screw up and Cindy loses her job." Jason announced.
Cara snapped her head back in Jason's direction hastily, earning herself a minor whiplash.
"What do you mean? She had nothing to do with this." Cara replied, not wanting to place anyone's job in jeopardy.
"She lied to me earlier when I caught you in the west wing upstairs." Jason explained casually.
Cara gulped in realization. Her eyes widening before she looked down at the ground.
"When she said that someone was asking for me, I headed downstairs only for Marcell to say that Cindy didn't even step foot inside the club yet." Jason continued indifferently.
Cara remained silent. She didn't even bother to look back at Jason. Instead, she lifted her eyes back to the wall, and clasped her hands together, and leaning her elbows on her knees.
