chapter 9

y/n's pov:
"wait guys, shit i don't wanna go to the movies in a dress. lexi, do you have any spare clothes in here?" i asked, buckling in the passenger side next to lexi.
"yeah, there's should be some in the trunk. go back there and change before we leave the parking lot.
i nodded at lexi to thank her as i got out of the passenger seat and walked towards the trunk. inside, there was a pair of light denim boyfriend jeans and a white spaghetti strapped cropped tank. i saw a gray and black flannel as well, which i decided to put on over the tank.
i closed the trunk door and sat in the trunk as i got myself situated.
"don't look back here you pervs" i lightly giggled. i knew they wouldn't but i figured i would joke around anyway.

jacob's pov:
"don't look back here you pervs" y/n softly giggled. i don't think she realized how attractive her laugh is. it's so genuine, sweet. it's my favorite feature of hers, besides her eyes and smile.
i still couldn't get over our kiss the other night. i couldn't tell if it meant anything to y/n. i mean, i know she wouldn't just randomly kiss anyone for no reason but i couldn't tell if she did it to quiet me, or because she was drunk, or just cause she felt like it. it meant a lot to me, i hope it meant something to her.
thinking about our kiss was getting me harder by the minute. i know it's so fucked up to be thinking about my best friend like that but i can't help it. she's fucking gorgeous.

my dick was throbbing and i couldn't just sit there thinking. i needed something more.

lexi started pulling out of the parking lot, looking in her rear view mirrors to make sure nobody was coming out from behind the car.
"hey jake, can you check out the back windshield for me? i can't see anything. bend down y/n." lexi asked me.
"yeah for sure." i nodded my head as i began to turn my body around.
as i looked out the rear windshield, i quickly looked down at y/n.
fuck.
i cannot do this right now.

i flashed my eyes back up to the window so lexi and braydon wouldn't see me checking out my best friend.
"yeah, you're good lex." i whispered turning around.
"bro you good? look like you've seen a ghost." braydon questioned, eyeing me up and down.
"yeah i'm good bro, just tired." i instantly responded, trying to find an excuse.
"alright man, whatever you say." braydon shrugged facing forwards again.
"hey i'm done changing, i'm crawling into the middle dumbasses i can't make it into the front while we're driving." y/n chuckled again. fuck. i remembered i was still hard.
"oh yeah uhh.. for sure." i scratched the back of my neck. i didn't want her to know that she was the one who made me like this.
y/n jumped up into the middle, leaning over to grab her phone out of the passenger seat.
fuck bro.
her jeans were fitted so tightly around her ass. i couldn't do this any longer.
i put my hands in my lap, covering up my dick as y/n sat back in her seat. i don't think she realized the massive bulge in my jeans.
y/n looked out the window, realizing how late it was.
"woah...look at the stars." y/n spoke, mesmerized, making me turn my head to join her looking out the window.
"look jake, that's mercury. oh! and there's the Aquarius constellation!" y/n shrieked.
if there's was one thing i loved about y/n, it was her passion...well, among many other things. but i loved how passionate she was about the small things; and her love for the sky was one of them.
ever since we were little, we all used to go outside star gazing. even in second grade, y/n would drag lexi, braydon, and i down to the library so she could check out all of the books on astrology. i'm sure she read every one. she would study books on the sky and keep track of all the stars we could see in our area. at night, she would have us all over and after dinner we would lay in her backyard as she told us all these random facts she had learned about the sky.

•flashback, third grade•

"did you know the sun is actually just a really big star?! if the sun were to explode, it would take about eight minutes for us to notice because of how long it takes for the sun's light to travel to us!" y/n yelled.
"why eight minutes? why not 14 minutes? that's the number on my soccer jersey!" braydon pointed down at his jersey, laughing.
"because of our distance from it braydon!" y/n swatted his chest.
"the largest constellation by area is Hydra, which is 3.16% of the sky!" y/n pointed in the sky, looking for the Hydra.
"i'm getting sleepy, i think i should start walking back home." lexi said, hopping up from her position lying down on the roof outside of y/n's bedroom window.
"we should all have a sleepover party!" jacob joined lexi, jumping up.
"yes yes yes!"
