Reservation

We pull into the restaurant's parking lot. The building is made of bricks and has patio seating as well as second floor balcony with outdoor seating. It's nice as fuck. It's a high end restaurant and it'll easily make the tab higher than 1k. We get out of the car and Alex holds the door open to the restaurant for me.

The inside has a modern look with cream colored walls. The lights are golden and shiny and they look so pretty. I'm in awe of the way it looks in here. There are potted rose bushes near the entrance that look so perfect I almost think they're fake. The tables are glass and there's a bar on a side of the room. I see sparkling bottles of wine and liquor. The room has a chandelier in the middle of it. Hanging with golden threads coming down from it. We see an elegant staircase with a white railing twirling up to the rooftop seating, where our table happens to be.

I head up first Alex behind me. He places his hand near the small of my back as someone passes by, not touching me but I still feel the heat radiating off of his palm. His touch makes my skin melt.

We make it up and see Kai, Grey and Jay. "Damn baby. You look good." says Kai with a smile painted on his face. His eyes trail all over my body and he wraps his arm around my waist giving me a side hug. Grey is staring at the menu leaning back in his seat.

"Ooohhh shit that looks good." He closes his eyes and makes an O face. Jay looks at Alex and bites his lip jokingly.

"Goddamn who's fine ass criminal is that?" Alex's eyes look amused as he slightly raises his eyebrows at him.

"Sit Down and order bro I can't wait." says Grey gripping my wrist and pulling me into the empty seat next to him. Alex takes the next empty seat across from me. The waitress comes and gives Alex multiple looks while she's asking for our food. I can tell he notices but ignores her. Good. Just kidding, I tell my brain. It's not like I care or anything. She brings us back our drinks and puts a light pink strawberry lemonade in front of me. The strawberries are fresh and it's easily the best lemonade I've had.

"Fuck Can I pleaseee have some?" Grey gives me puppy dog eyes with his cute face.

"Ofc you can silly." I raise my eyebrows at him. And smirk, pointing the straw towards his lips. "You could eat everything in this world and still be hungry boy." says Jay taking a sip of his golden looking drink. It's definitely some fancy alcohol.

Kai and Grey start mumbling back insults at Jay and I notice the waitress giving Alex his drink. "Here you go." she says with a smile softly. Her hair is dark brown, shiny and the length goes to her hips, it's curled and she has red lipstick on. Her eyes are brown and eyebrows are sightly arched giving her a seductive look. She is attractive. Like girly pretty. I was never girly.

I was always too aggressive for that. I catch myself staring at her with an annoyed look. I look over at Alex who is staring straight at me. I look away hoping he didn't notice my obvious discontent with her, but not before seeing a small smile on the edge of his mouth. He looks amused, he definitely noticed.

She leans over closer to him and says something in his ear. I look back up at them and raise my eyebrows. Clearly an annoyed expression on my face. It's not like I like him or anything but still. He doesn't say anything back to her but Kai who is sitting right next to him chirps up. "He's married to me. I'm sorry ma'am." with a coy smile. "However my friend over here Jay would love a lovely lady on his arm."

Jay smiles at her and she giggles and walks away. Alex takes a sip of his drink. "What even is your type? She wasn't bad. I swear you reject everyone." says Grey taking a swig of my lemonade.

Alex looks up and his eyes are flickering with amusement before looking at me. "She just doesn't interest me." I tilt my head at him. "Are you.. you know ....fruity?." I smirk. Grey, Kai and Jay start laughing. Alex has an amused expression. His eyes right on mine. "Shit you know I'm always here.." says Jay wiggling his brows at Alex. Alex has an amused expression.

"Yeah I'd prefer Christian. You know, just more my type." Alex says back.

"Ohh damn it's like that? After all I've done for you." Jay says dramatically. I smirk slightly.

"I could see it." Kai stares at Alex and then tilts his head.

"I could too." I add.

Alex rolls his eyes slightly. He made a joke, this is the first time I've ever really heard him speak anything more than what was necessary. I wanna see more of his personality. Curiosity tingles through my body.

We spend the rest of the dinner being how we usually are around eachother. Grey eating a little bit of everybody's food. Alex steps away to take a call and Grey, Kai and Jay make jokes with eachother about who's going to date the waitress.

I get up and head to an empty area on the balcony. The night sky looks nice. The stars glitter on the velvet blue sky and the tiny glittering gold lights string on the balcony. There's a potted rose plant in a grey stone pot in the corner. I love roses. Red roses. They're energy is very alliring and magnetizing. I feel a presence behind me. I turn around and see Alex behind me. I tilt my head and look up at him.

"Christian's gonna be back tomorrow morning. They're headed back now." "Mmm okay." I say. I can't resist the urge to get closer to him. "That waitress was pretty." I say. I start playing with the buttons of his shirt without realizing.

His hands are in his pockets and he raises his eyebrows as he looks down at me. My eyes too focused on the buttons. "Mhm. You were staring at her." he says. His tone slightly implying something else. Damn so he did notice me give her a dirty look.

I shrug "I'd fuck her." I say making my voice lighter. His face is slight taken aback. He composes himseld and smirks. He reachs his hands up and softly grabs my wrist. I break out of the daze I'm in and look up at him. His face is super close to mine.

His lips are so pretty. And his eyelashes are naturally curled up. Smh what a waste. I pull back from and he drops my wrist and I laugh.

Trying to recover from the fact that I was so obviously flirting with him. "Just sayingg." He keeps his gaze on me half smiling as I walk back towards Kai, Grey and Jay. Damn. My legs feel kinda like jello. Alex's presence will do that to you. We leave our tips and finish our drinks before we head out. We say our goodbyes and Kai, Grey and Jay leave.

Alex gets in the drivers seat and I sit in the
passenger. I feel happy. Moments like these remind me that not everything has been taken from me. I feel content and the radio turns on The Weekend plays as Alex drives us back and I rest my head to the side of the car door and slowly drift asleep.
