"Hey, Alejandro? Could you pass me that Paramore album, please?" I say and reach a hand behind me, wiggling my fingers until I feel a disc press into my palm. One hand still on the empty cases, I take the Brand New Eyes CD jacket and fit it in with the disc. "Gracias."
"You speak English," I hear someone breathe and whirl around, dropping the case onto the floor. I rush to retrieve it while the bewildered customer remains standing. He pulls a hand through his green hair. "And you have a terrible accent."
I drag my grimace to his eyes. "Thanks for the reminder, Genius."
