The walk back to Devin's apartment wasn't too far. The building itself looked older than most, but it also seemed nicer. Devin held my hand the whole time, walking to the elevator and pushing the button to go up. I giggled to myself thinking back to my elevator.
"What are you thinking about?" Devin smiled down at me, watching me giggle.
"Oh, elevators." I laughed louder. She only continued to smile, shaking her head as we entered the elevator. We rode up to the 5th floor and got out. She was nearly at the top of the building, as there were only 7 total floors.
"Right this way." She guided me to her apartment and unlocked the door. The first thing I noticed was the brick wall with large windows facing out into the city.
"Woah!" I shouted and walked to the window. I looked around at the beautiful city. "How much do you pay for this place!" I exclaimed and turned around to face her, but she was right behind me. I felt her hands on my hips as she pushed me towards the window.
"Now as much as you'd think." I gulped, trying to gather my remaining control. She laughed and took a step away from me. "Do you want some coffee or tea?" She walked away towards what I assume to be the kitchen. I followed after her, noticing the hardwood flooring and its contrast to the brick walls. She had a black rug with a white L-shaped couch in the living room, but due to the open concept, everything blended. We walked passed her nice dining table and into her kitchen. It was a beautiful design, but most prominently, across from her table was a glass door that looked into the pantry.
"You have a beautiful place." I almost whispered in awe. She stopped making coffee and looked back up at me.
"Oh, you'll love this!" She said and waved me over to her. We walked down a little hallway towards a sliding barn door. She slipped it open and walked in behind me. Lining the walls of the room were bookshelves upon bookshelves. I saw bean bags placed on the outskirts of the room where there were no shelves and a small table was placed in the center of the room.
"This is amazing. I'm never leaving!" I shouted and ran my fingers across the books.
"I think I'd like that." Devin laughed and wrapped her arms around my waist. I leaned back into her, enjoying her warmth. We stayed in each other's embrace for a moment before she pulled away.
"I'll go make that coffee, you look around." I hummed in approval and continued to read the titles of her books. She was only gone for 5 minutes, but in that time I had pulled out a book and gotten started.
"Enjoying yourself?" She laughed and placed the coffee mugs on the floor beside the beanbag on which I was seated. She sat down behind me and pulled me back into her.
"Midnight Summer's Dream." I hummed and continued where I had left off. "And therefore is Love said to be a child." I felt her hands on my hips move down to my outer thighs, then my inner thighs. I concentrated, trying to ignore her movement.
"And in choice, he is so oft beguiled." I almost moaned when she gently pinched my inner thigh and rubbed the pain away. Her other hand, not occupied with my leg, had moved up to my stomach, just below my breast.
"I can't read if you're distracting me." I laughed and closed the book. She took the book in my hands and placed it off to the side, next to our forgotten coffee.
"Then, let's never read again." I laughed and turned in her lap so I was laying on my stomach. Her hand which had once been on my leg was now placed carefully on my ass as if she were waiting for me to tell her no. When I didn't, she placed her hand down and squeezed.
"What would you rather do?" I tested the waters. She smirked down at me and with unimaginable strength, she lifted me from her and stood. I wasn't on the ground for very long before she lifted me over her shoulder and walked away from her books. I laughed the whole way to her room. When we arrived, she gave me a moment to steady myself and look around. In the far corner, I noticed a desk and computer where she had set up her office. In the center of the room, she had a large bed with messy sheets and blankets strewn across it. Her bedside tables were large, and the wall behind the bed was wood paneling rather than brick. It was a beautiful room. She had light bulbs hanging from cords to light the room, but they were just dim enough to allow me to see her.
