Our flight back on Sunday afternoon was equally long and boring as the flight there. Devin and I had agreed to spend the night at my place, but she had work in the morning, and I had the interview. I was nervous, despite the most recent email from my producer with a list of questions that would be asked.

"Look at this one." I laughed and pointed to the screen of my laptop. Devin leaned over my shoulder and read aloud.

"Go to Karaoke song?" Devin laughed and looked at me.

"They sure do have some weird questions. Some of these feel... private." She said and read over some of the other questions.

"I guess so," I said. I wasn't nervous about answering or dodging questions. I was most nervous about all the sudden recognition I would get.

"Let's get to bed, we can talk about this tomorrow." Devin smiled and helped me up from my seat.

"I have work tomorrow," I said and followed her to my bedroom.

"I'll come to get you." With a smile and one last kiss, we both got ready for bed.

The following morning, Devin had left for work before I had even gotten up. Her side of the bed was cold, but I had expected this. Things hadn't gone back to normal, but they were getting better. I would talk to her tonight about the situation and how to move forward.

I got up ready and dressed in a light blue slip dress with a low flowing v-neck and a slit up my thigh. I smiled in at my own reflection, appreciating the new dress. I finished getting ready and considered eating, but ultimately I was too nervous and didn't want to risk throwing it all up. I grabbed my purse and a beige coat before leaving my apartment and walking to the lobby. Chen said there would be someone to pick me up, and I knew immediately.

"Good morning." I smiled and waved to the man in a black suit. He had long brown hair flowing freely over his shoulders and a sign in his tattooed fingers reading, 'Miss. Quinn."

"Miss. Quinn, I'm here to escort you to your interview." I smiled and nodded in acknowledgment before following him out of my apartment.

I got into the back of his sleek black car when he opened the door for me. With a smile and brief nod, I slipped inside and buckled my seatbelt. The ride wasn't long, but I couldn't stop the nervous thoughts from wrecking my mind.

"Here we are." The man driver exited the car and opened my door for me once again. I smiled and reached for his extended hand. He helped me from the car, but I didn't let go of his hand.

"What's your name, sir?"

"Vic," He smiled and shook my hand. After our introduction, I made my way into the building, not entirely prepared for what was truly happening. Never in my life, had I imagined this happening.

"Miss. Quinn!" Someone shouted and jogged over to meet me. She wore a pantsuit and had her hair pulled tightly into a beehive.

"Please, call me Vivian." I smiled and shook her hand.

"Aly." She returned my shake and guided me to the set. "We sent you a copy of the questions, I will be conducting your interview, so just relax and let us pick your brain." She laughed, but this only amped up my nerves. I grinned awkwardly and nodded with a forced chuckle.

"We're on in 10!" Someone shouted from behind the camera. I could see anyone due to the bright lights that showed in my eyes. It took everything to keep myself from squinting at the harshness of it all.

I looked around and saw a fake window behind us and the couches set up in what looked to be a living room formation. There was a soft rug under the couch and a framed photo on the back wall of some purple flowers. I chuckled at their mediocre attempt to make this look real.
