"Why'd you invite me." I asked out of the blue. She looked taken back by my question. I watched her think for a moment and took another sip of my drink.
"I'm sorry if I got the wrong message. I thought you liked me. I meant to ask you on a date, but it doesn't have to be, if you don't want this to be." She looked at me, vulnerably. My eyes went wide and I took another swig of my drink.
"I'm sorry, I just thought- lets get you home." She began to stand, but I grabbed hold of her wrist.
Thought what?
"Sit." I requested quietly. She sat down across from me again.
"I've never done this before." I looked down at my almost finished drink. I could the warmth of the alcohol in my blood helping me speak through my nerves.
"A date?" Devin questioned and drank her own drink.
"No, I mean with a woman." I looked anywhere but across that very table.
"I don't mind." Devin smiled and reached across the table to grab my chin and turn my head back to her.
"It's okay." She smiled softly. "If you don't want to do this, we can leave." I thought about it for a moment. I had been thinking of her for weeks. Ever since I saw her in that store. Somewhere inside of me I knew the feelings I had for her. At first sight, I quickly fell for her charm. She was beautiful. Why would I give up this opportunity.
"I want to." I smiled at her and removed her hand from my chin, holding it in my own. I watched her smile widen.

To preface this book, I do not tolerate any biphobia. I believe that I have built a beautiful base of love and acceptance, but biphobic comments will not be tolerated. Second, I am a queer author. I have styled the characters in this book after my own experience in coming out and being my authentic gay self. I have purposefully left out most labels and have stuck to some general queer terms to be inclusive. I truly hope you enjoy this book, as it is a very piece of my heart. I have poured out myself into each character to bring you happiness, love, adventure, and heartbreak.
I present to you,
