Chapter 16:

Man forget about luke let's talk about jack.

It was the day of homecoming.

Months before, Judy has dragged me and Lian to random shops throwing us dresses that she thinks looked cute on us, but most of them just look good on the hanger but when you put it on- either too tacky, too showy, it just wasn't right.

I am going with Harry to homecoming which made the whole school think that me and Calum were out of the dating loop. And Calum asked Lian, in the sweetest way possible.

But even though Calum and I are no longer "dating" he still stays by my side and watches me.

I groan and plop down on the bed. The puppy Harry gave me yapped, jumping up the bed and licking my face. I laughed and cuddled it under my arm.

"Ange- oh honey we have so much work to do and you're still there lounging come on!" Judy said, taking me by the ankles and dragging me to the end of the bed. I plop down on the floor and I grunt.

"Okay, so Lian's in hair so I'm gonna put you in make up." She helped me stand up and dragged me someplace in the house.

Judy has in fact hired stylists to make us pretty, she literally spared no penny for this homecoming thing, well, I guess I can act like I have a normal life even for just one night.

After a bit more pampering Judy decided I was ready. She didn't let me look at any mirror or even my damn phone, but I trusted her so I let her do whatever it is she wanted me to do that she thinks will make me look pretty.

"Okay, here is your dress!" She sing sang and I roll my eyes but take the dress anyways.

It was white, not the white that made it look like I was getting married, but white. It had a sweetheart neckline and was long enough to cover my feet. Even though my feet won't be shown through the dress, Judy quite begrudgingly forced me on heels. Well, she did say I kinda needed them what with Harry's goddamn height so I agreed.

"Okay, wear this and then I'll let you have a glance at yourself." She said chirpily and I sigh as she left the room.

I put on the damned heels and quite carefully put the dress on, making sure that I wasn't wrecking my hair and / or my make up. Once I was done I smoothed myself down and yelled for Judy.

She entered the room with a pampered and dressed up Lian and they both gaped at me.

"What?" I asked.

"I'm gay," Lian whispered and eyed me up and down.

"Do I look that bad?" I asked and looked down self consciously on the dress.

"You look goddamned beautiful what the heck!" Judy finally spoke up. She took my wrist and dragged me to a place that had a mirror, and finally got a good look of myself.

I must say, I do look beautiful, for once at least. My blonde hair was curled and some of it was pinned to the back, it had small ornaments that made me look like I walked straight out of game of thrones or something. My make up was beautiful as well, it was light but made me look pretty, some glitter was on my face but it added to the goddess like effect.

"Here," Lian said handing me the mask I'll be using "you look so hot damn."

I laughed and turned to you "so do you! Oh god Calum made the right choice.."

Lian was in a simple but pretty black dress that had the same length as mine. It had so much detail but it looked beautiful on her.

She shook her head and blushed.
