Brianna's Pov

I cursed under my breath as I barged toward the bar counter to get a drink. I'd either kill that bitch or some random person who tries to hit on me if I stayed sober. "Motherfucker!" I mumble pushing a random couple, out of my way.

I sat on the counter and poured shots of whiskey down my throat. That bitch is damn lucky I didn't slit her with a knife. How dare she say that to me. Me, Brianna Brown.

The only people who said such things to me and survived are my parents. I used to think they were the best parents in the world even though they were never around much when I needed them but they still pampered and spoiled me a lot.

That was enough for me at that time but then as I grew up, I realised they were huge assholes, starting from the day I came out to them.

"Dad," I chirped as I walked into his office. I saw him sitting on the couch with my Mom. They glanced at me and smiled.

"Come here sit, we need to tell you something," My mom said.

"I want to tell you something too" I rubbed my hands together. It was the time I was going to come out to my parents. I was pretty nervous but I was sure they wouldn't care.

I sat across them and started "I have wanted to tell you something for a long time..." They stared at me and patiently waited for me to complete. I knew I liked girls for years. Cora was the only person I had told about it because she was my best friend and also gay, so I knew she'd be accepting.

I let out a heavy breath and confessed "I like girls," My Mom furrowed her brows "Brianna, you know you can't-" Before she could finish my dad interrupted.

"It's fine, Laina....she likes girls doesn't mean she can't marry a man" I felt anger rush into my veins. What the fuck do they mean by that, I clenched my hands and stood up to leave, I don't want to argue with them.

I heard my dads voice "BRIA-"

"You guys are absurd!" I practically yelled as I turned to look at them.

They both shared glances before transferring their gaze to me. "Sit Brianna," My Mom glared at me.

I remained still and crossed my arms. My father stood up and walked over to me. He placed his hand over my shoulder and said "Brianna you are my only child and heir to my company if you marry a woman what would happen to our family legacy,"

I yanked his hand away and spoke "For God's sake, I'd marry the woman or man I will fall in love with, I won't marry someone just because you want me to produce an heir to your company,"

"You need to understand, Brianna, we are not forbidding you to have sexual activities with a girl, you can do as you wish, you are an adult, but you would have to get married to a man" He explained

My mom squinted her eyes at him and stood up "What are you saying, Scott? Which man would marry a girl who likes girls"

"Laina, don't," My dad warned calmly. My mother rolled her eyes and went out of the room. "Dad, I am not going to-"

"Brianna, I am done being patient with you, that's my final decision, accept it or be ready to get disowned, you'd have to pretend to be interested in men, no one....not even a single soul on earth should know you are a lesbian" he stated as he moved away from me.

I simply stood there in disbelief. "You either find yourself a man before you turn thirty or forget about using the family wealth"

"Excuse me, Ma'am" I looked towards my side and saw a kid standing next to me. I raised my eyebrows and swallowed another shot. "Can you show me the exit please, I am a little lost, I was here with my friend.....I went to a corner with a woman but turned out she was a vampire, don't worry she did bite me but I am not turned into a vampire yet....I promise. When I....." she paused and sat beside me. "So when I returned-"
