Annexe's Pov

My eyeballs almost popped out, I couldn't believe what my eyes just witnessed. There's no way this weird creature is my dad. I leaned back toward them and whispered "This is definitely some illusion or this creature's shape-shifting abilities, don't fall for it,"

"Well, well, well, Suprise my child," The creature said while drawing near us.

He stopped when he came face to face with me and said "I am so proud of you my girl, you have finally flourished into your true form," He tried to touch my face but I twirled my face away.

Kai interposed herself between us and said "Uncle Jasper! It's a pleasure meeting you again, I missed as well as Aunt Dolores..." She peeked through his large frame. "Where is she tho? I have never seen you two asunder, I've also never known you were a paranormal creature, I'd have slaughtered you but no worries, I can do it now-"

Cora pulled her back and I glared at the creature "Show your true form or else..."

He guffawed at her warning. "It would be great to see you try, young lady,"

"No, not young," Kai jumped into the conversation. Cora took a heavy breath and threw a glare at her.

I ran a hand through my hand and spoke "Whatever you're trying to achieve by shifting into my dad, it's not working so you better shift back into your true form and reveal your motives,"

"I am your Father," He simpered, adjusting his collar. I shook my head and grabbed his collar. He glanced at my hand and then at me with an amused look. "We don't have time for this, you'll have to come with me," He tried to sound earnest.

Kai jumped in again and said "She can't,"

He raises his eyebrows "Why?"

She licks her lips and explains "I am going to have to kill you so there is no you gonna be left for her to come with," He clenched his jaw and grabbed her collar. In a swift, she is hanging against the wall while the creature chokes her.

Cora sprints towards them with super speed as well and tries to shove him away from her but he remains undaunted by the attack. I took a step forward to join the fight but then I remembered Brianna, she has to go. I spun around only to see her absent from there. "Where's Brianna?" I questioned, intensely staring at the three.

The man leaves Kai and shrugs deviously. Kai's face had turned red, she was coughing hard as Cora rubbed her back. "Are you okay?...Breath" She said tenderly.

I rushed towards them and asked again "I don't care, what beef you have with us, it has nothing to do with her, she is a human,"

He squeezed his lips together and said "I'll tell you, on one condition...you will have to come with me," I bit my lip, I can't go with this creature at any cost, and absolutely not for Brianna. We can find another way to fetch her from his imprisonment.

Kai caught her breath and said "I know where Brianna is, When I was talking with Uncle jasper, Cora pulled me back and said to stay back in case they need protection, Brianna hid behind me and told me not to move, I obeyed and didn't move, She called the police and-"

Cora chewed on her bottom lip in annoyance before saying "Please, get to the point, Kai,"

She nodded and continued. "She called the police and told them about a dangerous monster over here and then she was leaving, I tried to stop her, how could I protect her in case of danger if she wasn't here right?...Ow, it hurts" She hissed in last. I was flaming with anger, normally, I would deal with her rambling but now is not the time to deal with this.
