Intermingle (On Hiatus)

Chapter 4

Kai's Pov

I threw the covers off of me and hugged my pillow tightly. The old-evil-pretty thing from the club was definitely plotting something against me. Maybe, she knows who I am. It attacked me so there are chances it'd try to harm Anne.

I will have to kill it even if it isn't plotting against me, it does belong to the supernatural world. I would have to kill it as soon as possible. The quicker I complete my punishment, the quicker I could leave.

I am tired here. It has been soo long...I don't like it here anymore. I just wanna go back. There's no one else to blame except ms, it's my fault I-wrong...we are here. She was just trying to help me and got punished as well.

Our punishments were distinct, we had different destinations but we'd still meet from time to time. But now, I haven't seen her in years so let's assume she has finished her punishment and gone back. At least, one of us is free.

I placed the pillow on the bed and walked into the bathroom with my towel. After taking a warm shower and brushing my teeth, I grabbed my uniform and pulled up my black pants followed by my white shirt then the black jacket with a white lining and school logo.

I wore my socks and peeked at the tie and shoes. I don't how to tie them, I picked them up and went to Anne's room. I glanced at her bed and saw her sleeping. I walked closer to her.

I stared at her unaware of what to do. Anne says it's bad to wake someone up when they're sleeping so I shook her hastily. She shot up and gasped, she placed a hand on her chest and looked at me.

She steadied her breathing and said "Kai...."

She ran a hand through her hair and licked her lips. "How many times have I asked you to not disturb me when I am asleep!"

"Zero," then added, "You said it's bad to wake someone up,"

She slightly squinted her eyes "That's exactly what you were doing right now?"

I shook my head "No I was not, I came in and saw you sleeping so I just shook you, you woke up yourself, I never asked you to wake up"

She took and deep breath and laid back. "Fine, What do you want?"

I put forward my shoes and necktie in front of her. She glanced up at the clock and then at me. "Five. It's Five in the morning."

"I was not feeling sleepy," I said and sat on her bed to put on my shoes. She chuckled "So You'll wake me up because you are not feeling sleepy"

"No stupid! I woke you up so you could tie my shoelace and necktie...and now I am feeling hungry too, So you can just freshen up and cook for us then we'll both leave for our first day at school and work...OR we can go on a jog before that and then we can-"

"Wow! That's..." We stared at each other as I waited for her answer. "Your school at seven my work's at nine, let's just...." she yawned "....sleep," She said and arrange her head under the covers.

"How abo-" She pulled me down and tucked me under the covers. "Shh. sleep." She put her hand over my mouth. Soon she was sound asleep while I was staring at the walls.

After fifteen minutes of trying to sleep, I rolled out of her bed and went to the living room. I lay on the sofa and waited for her to wake up. Hours passed by it was nine thirty and she was still asleep.

Lord! When is she gonna wake up? I sighed and got off the sofa and went to her room. "Anne" I called out.

She hummed slightly. "I am hungry,"

She hummed again before whispering "Later Kai," I nodded and went back into the living.

Within half an hour, Anne is running down the stairs with her jacket and my school bag in her hand "Good morning," I looked up at her and smiled at her.
