Chapter 3: I Missed You

Armin's POV
I could see Eren breaking down. He never ever broke down, but for his mother. He really loves Mikasa, he acts like he is ok, he isn't, I know him.

"He's loosing his mind Connie!" I said in a whisper shout.

"I know, how could we help him? He is on the verge." Connie whispered. "Was he like this ever before?"

"Only for his mother." I whispered slowly.

"Damn, he really loves her."

"Let's catch up with him." I whispered.

We made our horses run to him.

"Man, you're alright?" Connie asked worried.

"Yup? Better than ever." he said fast.

Eren's POV
Immediately after the mission was over, I went to see Mikasa. I entered the hospital.

"How is she?" I asked the nurse.

"She is better, she even woke up. Right now she is sleeping."

"Can I see her, please?"

"Sure."

I entered the room where Mikasa was in. She was sleeping peacefully. I sat on the counter of the bed and watched for 20 minutes until one eye opened.

"E-Eren?"

"You're alright."

She tried to hug me but her stitches held her down. I hugged her instead.

"You don't know how scared I was, don't leave me EVER again, alright?" I said nearly crying. "You nearly died on me!"

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have... It's my fault, I scared all of you."

"No, don't. It's no ones fault, it's ok, just, let's forget this happened." I said smiling. "I love you so much it hurts." I said laughing.

"Mr. Jäger? Your visiting time is over." the nurse said.

"Alright." I then whispered to Mikasa. "Soon to be a Mrs. Jäger." when she blushed, it was adorable.

When I got into my dorm I took a quick nap then hung out with Armin, Connie and JEAN. I didn't want to go but Connie kind of made me to. We went into the mall, at a pizza shop.

"How is Mikasa? Is she alright? Oh my God I can't believe you let her do that!" Jean said nearly spitting in my face.

I was beyond furious. I nearly bit my hand, I wanted to rip Jean to pieces.

"I'm. Going. To. Rip. You. To. Pieces. If. You. Ever. Say. That. Again." I said trying not to kill Jean. I went to punch him in the face but Armin and Connie stopped me.

"At what hospital is she? I want to see her."

"You. Won't. See. Her. She's mine!" I said while nearly kicking him in the face.

"Jean, Eren and Mikasa are together." Connie whispered to Jean.

Maybe now, for once, he'll know his place and back off.

"I still want to see her. You can't stop me from seeing her. She isn't yours. She is a person." Jean said spitting in my face.

I was full with anger. Who he thinks he is?! I nearly strangled him to death then let go of him. I left the Mall. I ain't gonna get angry on Jean f*cking Horseface. I went to see Mikasa again because I don't want Jean there. I entered the small space and saw Mikasa daydreaming in the bed. I made my way to her and kissed her forehead.

"How are you?"

"I'm good. Tomorrow they will let me out "

"Good." I said smiling. "But... You aren't completely healed. I just got you here..."

"They don't have a lot of space plus I have to do my solider duty..." she smiled kindly.

I was about to kiss her when someone entered. I turned around and it was horseface. Why?

"Go away." I said.

"Nah, I kinda like it here. Oh, Mikasa how are you?" he said making anger build up inside me.

"Excuse me, only one person can visit at a time." the nurse said.

"Jean go away." I said trough gritted teeth.

"Mikasa will decide." he said with a cocky smile on his face.

"Eren, you stay." Mikasa said.

"But--"

"Bye!" I said fastly.

I sat on the bed near Mikasa and started drawing imaginary circles on her back. I kissed her forehead then drifted away in a deep sleep.

Nurse's POV
I entered room 37 to tell Mr. Jäger to leave but then I saw this cute lovebirds. They were both sleeping peacefully. I couldn't help but stare a little then leave. They were too cute to be woke up.

Mikasa's POV
All so suddenly it all turned black. I saw all my friends just staying there. I went to Armin but he suddenly faded away. I ran to Jean and he faded away. I ran to Connie and Sasha and they faded away. The last one standing was Eren.

I ran desperately to him but he faded away. I fell to the cold ground and started crying. Then everything went white, Petra making her way to me.

"Stay strong Mika." she said with tears in her eyes but smiling.

It was all just a dream. Did Petra really talk with me? I miss her so much, we used to be friends, we used to have our special days. We used to say our crushes. She soon was to marry Levi.

I loved her so much. I guess soldiers are prepared to die. We all entered knowing the risk. It's our fault. She risked her life to save me and Eren. She didn't care about the consequences. I hope she is in a better place now. She needed to get away. She told me she had a plan to sneak outside the walls with Levi and asked me and Eren to come too. We never did that. Her face, it haunts my my once pleasent dreams. Her voice, chased away all the sanity in me.

Only Eren can keep me sane right now. I need her, I need someone to share all my secrets and my sadness. There's just too much that time can not erase. I miss you, Petra. You will be remembered as one of the most brave soldiers. We all miss you and wish you a happy after life. She was my only true friend. God, I can't still believe.. she's gone. For real... I miss you Petra.
