Chapter 10: Dont Fall, Reluctant Heroes

Mia's POV
I wake up near a source of heat, I turn around to see Sam. I look at the sky. Crap! It's already past lunch! I wake Sam up and rush to lunch before it ends. We both entered in the same time to see an angry Erwin.

"Where were the two of you, basically, all day? We needed you Captain Sam, today at training, remember?"

"I'm sorry sir, I swear it won't happen again."

"Ugh 16 year olds." he whispered under his breath leaving us.

"Well, shit." Sam says.

We rush to training when I see Kara. Ugh Kara is Jean's daughter. That fair hair and that brown eyes! Ugh! She also has a crush on Sam. She would do anything, anything to get Sam.

"Hey there hottie!" Kara said getting dangerously close to Sam.

"Just call me Sam, Kara." Sam said annoyed by her attitude.

"Alright Sam." she whispered.

"Oh, hello Jäger. What's this?" she said pointing at my necklace.

"A necklace, duh Kirstein." I said annoyed.

With a movement she ripped the necklace of my neck

"Oops."

I snapped. Lines appeared on my cheekbones and I punched her in the face. I kicked her in the stomach making her spit blood. I took the necklace, put it back then continued beating the shit out of her.

"Mia, stop!" Sam said.

I turned my face to see his beautiful blue eyes when something hits me hard and I fall to the ground. All I could remember is Sam calling my name.

I open my eyes to see my mom sitting on the bed next to me and my dad going forth and back nervously.

"Mom? Dad?" I say with a cracked voice.

"Oh my god you scared me sweetheart!" Mom said.

"Who did this to you?" anger was building up inside dad.

"Most probably Kara..."

"Did you do something to her in the first place?" Mom asked worried

"Well I beat the living crap out of her.. But--"

"But what? You are not allowed in any fights Mia." Dad said putting a hand over his forehead.

"But with a good reason!"

"What reason?" they say said in unison.

"She nearly broke my necklace." I said looking at it

"Who is it from sweetheart? Did Tara gave it to you."

"No."

"Leigh?"

"No."

"Then who?"

"Sam." I said.

On my mom's face crept a huge smile while my dad sat on a chair exhausted.

"Is that Levi's son Mikasa?" Dad asked

"Yeah." she said still smiling.

"Anyways, Mia are you alright?"

"Yea, but if I couldn't regenerate, I would be dead by now."

"Mia, get ready, you have a mission." Dad said leaving the room.

"See you later Mia." Mom said leaving the room.

I got up and prepared for the mission. I put my cape on when Sam entered.

"Are you ok?"

"Yeah, better then ever. Thought you could take a held of your girlfriend there ya know?"

"We both now this is not true."

"Yeah. Let's just go." I said making my way past him.

We went outside the walls. The breeze was hitting my face and my brown coloured hair. My eyes looked around with excitement. I bet I looked really weird but it doesn't matter. I don't know why I feel so jealous about Kara. She's just a slut. Right? I hope so.

Sam's POV
We went outside the walls. Ugh, she's so perfect and-- Sam stop right there, tch is not like you like her. She's just a little brat. Tch... Right? Damn I'm not breaking. I'm. Not. Breaking.

We were already in the forest. The 30m Titans were following us when we were circled by Titans. We all get up our horses when my sister is... Smashed into the ground. I saw red. I freaking saw red. I killed all the Titans with cold blood. I ripped their heads off. I sat on my knees and cried.

Mia's POV
I just saw Sam break down. He was crying loudly as he held the crosse of his sister in his hands. Her heart was still beating but she needed medical help, fast.

"Sam, she needs medical help, we have to go, now!" I said loudly.

He sobbed as his sister's body was taken away by other soldiers, back to the wall. Sam just stayed there and cried. I know he may be a douchebag sometimes but really, I do love him. I went to him and hugged him tight.
I then sang into his ear.

I then stopped and stayed silent for good minutes. We were both on our knees hugging each other. After other several minutes we heard some sounds. I then saw the image of my dad and Sam's and Leigh's dad. Everything was a blur from then on.
