Chapter 11: Lost

Sam's POV
Me and Mia get up as my dad and her dad ask us what happened. We both ignore them as we make our way to the horses. We ride our horses back to the wall, each sobbing while our fathers' expression don't understand what happened. How... Will dad... Take the... News? What if she's... Dead... By now. I am freaking lost, I lost it she was the one who always was there for me... I needed her. There were two special people I needed in my life... Leigh and.. Never mind. I hate her. She ruins me.

I saw her trying to comfort me but I just shook her hand off my shoulder. My father gives me a glare and I know it's time to stop. But, I won't let her make me shy and sweet, shit, I'm going to always be bitter. While I process all this information, I saw my dad looking at me confused. I whisper to him

"I'll explain you later." I said putting the hoodie of the cape over my head.

Later we arrive, and I go to my dorm. I just lay there in my bed thinking when I spill my drink on the floor. Ugh, filthy. I clean it up when I hear a knock on the door. This is really the best moment for visits?

"Hey Sam." Mia said with a bright smile on her face.

"What do you want."

"Maybe, you want to play a game or do something?"

"I can't deal with your shit right now, and I don't need your stupid games to keep me entertained or shit."

"But--"

"Go. The. Fuck. Away."

"I see, that's what you want, don't worry Heichou, I won't bother you anymore, God I'm such a burden aren't I!?"

I went way too far. I'm a failure, I, I... Don't know. I hate that she makes me think way too much, this little chat gave me a headache.

(Heichou means Captain in Japanese. 😄)

Mia's POV
I can't believe he is such an asshole... I should have known better... And here it's no one else to blame just me... I look at my necklace one last time before I leave it on my bed, open the window of my dorm and jump.
I fall into some plants that help me to not get hurt.

I make my way to take the 3D maneuver gear, and take off into the first forest I see. I put my hoodie over my face and run.

Sam's POV
I can't believe I did something like this... I have to tell her I'm sorry.... I, Sam Ackerman am for the first time sorry. I knock on the door, no response. I knock louder, no response.

"Please, just listen to me." I said loudly.

I burst into the room to see the necklace thrown on the bed near a note, and the window open, making the curtains flow by the wind. I look at the note that says:

'I'm so sorry for your loss, I really am. If Leigh is alright, tell her I really care about her. Tell Tara that I'll miss her, tell Alex that I won't play games this Sunday with him. Time will tell.'

This time I did it, big time. She's gone... Because of me.. Oh my God.

I just stay there, letting wind flow into my cape, as my hair gets messy. I just stay there for minutes until my dad knocks, then comes in. I ruffle the note between my thumbs.

"Sam, what are you doing here?"

"I, I..." I feel a wet tear drip down my face and fall on the note.

"Where's Mia?" he asks.

"Dad... I'm horrible... I... I"

"You?"

"I made her leave."

"What did you do this time?"

"I freaking took it out on her... And...She just left..."

"She LEFT?" he says, annoyed.

"Not forever, I will find her, and I will tell her how much I love her."

"Way to go son." Dad says letting me go out the door.

This is time, I do something worth my existence. I'm bringing Mia back.

Mikasa's POV
I was talking to Eren when I hear a knock on the door. It was Levi.

"Well...hey" he said rubbing the back of his neck

"Is there something wrong?" Eren asks.

"Mia's... gone."

"What do you mean gone?!"

"She left. We don't know where she is but I can assure you that Sam just went after her this very moment."

"And. That. Is. Because. Of. Sam?" Eren said beyond furious.

"Calm down." I say rubbing his back.

Mia probably knows what she's doing, I'm sure she won't be gone too long... Right? I wonder what Sam did...

Mia's POV
I was running trough the forest when I heard the sound of 3D maneuver gear, shit! What if someone was following me all the way. I took off into the sky, flying faster then ever. It was very risky because you could fall at any moment. And that's what exactly happened.

The maneuver gear stopped and I fell hard to the ground. I then saw a person with black long boots,white button-up shirt, maneuver gear, a short brown jacket, a green cape and a white clean cravat. Sam. Sam just found me. I got up as fast as I could and ran.
