CALEB
"Where are we going?" Joanie's big blue green eyes frown at me as she realises I'm not taking her directly back to her apartment and I throw her a mischievous smile.
I take her hand and kiss the back of it and don't drop it whilst I keep driving. I like feeling her warm hand in mine, her soft gentle skin feels like satin. It's that smooth. Even though I'm pissed off with myself for shouting at her earlier, I also feel like a big weight has been lifted off my shoulders by confiding in Joanie. I was worried that she'd feel differently about me after I'd told her what happened in Africa, but as always Joanie is full of surprises and has been nothing but understanding. I seriously don't deserve this girl.
The snow is still pretty thick as I pull down the usually leafy street of Chesterton. I've always liked this neighbourhood, I used to ride my bike down here when I was kid and it's only a ten minute walk to the high street. Smiling, I pull up in front of the large white house with the big snow covered Cherry Tree in the front yard and turn off my engine.
"What are you up to Caleb Maverick?" Joanie mutters to herself as she peers at the house through the car window.
"I was thinking, that little apartment of yours isn't big enough for Bruce, beautiful." I say with a smile but Joanie scowls at me.
"You're not taking Bruce off me! I love that dopey dog! Is this what this is? You've found a new family for him, they live here right? Well you can forget it, start the car Caleb. Bruce is staying with me." Joanie snaps with rage and I can't help but laugh at her. Fuck she's adorable, defending Bruce after I literally had to force her to take him.
"Bruce is yours, I'd never take him away!" I say straightening the record, but Joanie's now got her arms crossed over her chest completely not amused.
"Then what's going on?" She huffs.
"You know this house has a really big garden that I bet Bruce would love to run about in." I tease. "...and the kitchen is huge. I bet it would be nice for my girlfriend to bake in...If I could persuade her to move in." I smile at her as I see Joanie gasp and her eyes snap to mine.
"Caleb!" Joanie whispers.
"I can't keep living with my mum J. I need a place of my own. So I've been looking around for a few weeks now and this one really stands out." I grin at her as I watch Joanie bite hard onto her bottom lip trying not to smile.
"...only thing is...I'd kind of like you to see it first and see what you think of it before I put a bid in, because when you're ready, I want you and Bruce to move in with me." I say seriously.
Joanie's eyes nearly pop out of their sockets. "Caleb...are you serious? We've not been together long...we said we'd take this slow...I don't know..." Joanie starts to stutter and I plant a long slow kiss on her lips to silence her, loving how she melts into my lips straight away with no hesitation.
Pulling away I smile at her plump swollen lips. "There's no hurry J, I'm not expecting for you to move in right away, just whenever you're ready. Weeks, months, years...whatever you need. But like I said to you before, I'm all in."
Joanie's smile widens as she glances back at the house then back to me. "I'm all in too."
--------------
As soon as Joanie's apartment door slams closed, I back Joanie up against it and crash my lips against hers. My cock is already rock hard and throbbing, desperate for Joanie's touch. Joanie unzips my hoody and pushes it off my shoulders in between kisses as I tug her thick winter jumper off in one swift motion making her giggle. Next our trousers come off and are flung across the room, at which point Bruce waddles away to hide.
