Hajime Hinata

As a result of being a social pariah at your old school, you've never had anything close to a romantic relationship before, which Hajime knows about. Hajime on the other hand, hasn't talked a lot about his past romances with you, and you really had no interest in pressing for information. However, Hajime made a comment one day about an ex, and without thinking you asked him who he was talking about. You did not expect him to tell you that his ex is Nagito of all people. Hajime didn't go into too many details, but just enough for you to realize that him and Nagito didn't work out because Nagito got "too weird". You've always felt a little bad for your white-haired classmate, and hoped that one day he could find someone that will love him, weirdness and all.

Nagito Komaeda

Nagito has never seriously dated anyone before you because most people get scared off by his.... quirky personality. You seem to have a similar effect on people since your ex-boyfriend also left you because he got turned off by the somber energy you put into your poetry. You tried to explain that it was an outlet for your depression, but he proved to be a terrible listener and tried to go behind your back and tell your parents you needed "serious help" which your parents thankfully shot down. You promptly chewed him out and dumped him, and you're lucky that aside from a couple of incidents at the beginning of your relationship, Nagito doesn't try and tell you that your poetry makes you "disturbed".

Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu

Fuyuhiko is not known for being a friendly dude, so it came as a shock when you learned that your classmate Mahiru also happened to be his ex-girlfriend. As far as you could tell the two hated each other, but after asking your boyfriend about it, he clarified that they didn't get along because of their nasty breakup. Mahiru didn't like him being a member of the Kuzuryu clan (it's not like it's his fault he's in the clan- he was born into it) and Fuyuhiko didn't like her constantly nagging him. The tension came to a head because of the conflict between Fuyuhiko's sister Natsumi and Mahiru's best friend Sato. Of course they took separate sides and that tore them apart. Nowadays they avoid each other, and you're glad they do that instead of getting into fights.

Since you're also unfortunately tangled up in the yakuza, your first boyfriend was also a member. He was never violent towards you, but you've witnessed him rough people up before, and your opinion of him turned sour fast. For the rest of the year you were together, you tried to figure out a way to leave him without pissing him off, but you never got the chance since one day he just disappeared. You couldn't get a hold of him at all, and his only friend acted shady when you asked about him, so you figured he was either dead or deserted the clan.... either way, it was a blessing in disguise because you were free of him.

Kazuichi Soda

Kazuichi has never dated anyone before you (the closest he's ever gotten was his past crush on Sonia) so you didn't have to worry about him having any crazy exes. Unfortunately for you, you haven't had good luck in the romance department before finding Kazu.

Your ex-boyfriend was a thief. You didn't know about this until you caught him trying to steal some of your mom's jewelry when he thought you weren't looking. Of course you gave him an angry earful of insults followed by kicking him out of your house and telling the police. Since it was technically his first offense, he got off light, and you just hope that asshole never crosses paths with you again, for his own sake.
