The next week
We took the bus, traveled for half an hour, walked for a few minutes and I reached the house.
Oh fickle! I know this house.
Lydia escorted us to the backyard, where hundreds of people were present, drinking and eating and dancing to the very default music. She led us behind the huge stage, from where she told us to wait a few seconds until she makes the announcement.
"Hello ladies and gentlemen!" She screamed as if she was a host or some crap. "We have invited the favorite band of our birthday girl to surprise her, Sunshine!"
We all came out in the open, hundreds of people howling and clapping and cheering, all except one, the birthday girl herself.
Oh hell! This is the worst thing that can ever happen. Why Donny why?
The girl in the front, was my ex girlfriend Sandra Wilkins, in the arms of an ex bandmate Andrew Loomis.
Andrew Loomis was our side singer before Ellis joined. We got along really well, but one day he tried to make himself the lead singer without consulting Donny or me. We took votes and decided that we didn't want him in the band anymore because of his uncooperativeness. Then he caused a ruckus on one of our live shows and it went VIRAL. Since then, we have a certain resentment for him.
Sandra Wilkins was someone who I used to date for 3 weeks. I was really into the relationship, until she cheated on me and started dating Andrew behind my back. That lead to an awful breakup and swore that day to get my revenge. Now I have to kill two traitors with one microphone.
We got on stage, performed our songs, and blended with crowd in a very short time. I purposely bumped into Sandra.
"Can't you see where you're going?"
"Can't you understand what people feel? Or you're too selfish to give a damn about them."
"What are you saying?"
"You cheated on me with Andrew. Don't you get it? If you didn't want me, then just say so. Why make me suffer?"
"Because you never had any time for me. And also, you were only a fling to me, Andrew is a real relationship."
You little bitch!
I left, enraged. Raven caught me, and led me to the gate.
"Calm down, tiger. You need to have a session."
"Not now."
"Listen to me. If you don't sort your emotions with someone and repress them instead, you'll have this harm you more than you want."
"Okay." I said, calming down.
"Let's all agree, having flings isn't bad. But toying with their emotions is wrong."
"Yeah, I know."
"Also, let's agree that she's a bitch."
"I cannot agree more."
"She reminds me of someone I used to date a while back."
"Someone dumped you?! If I was with someone like you, I would never leave her."
"I appreciate that, one more interruption and I'll snap your bone."
"Okay okay."
"I used to date a guy named Paul Limp, he was a great guy, or so I thought. His flaw was something I learned the hard way, he used to date girls for all the pleasure and no responsibility, and then cheat on them and never contacting them again. When confronted, he would act like he didn't know you like an amnesiac."
"So, what happened?"
"I punched him in the chin and knee-d him in the groin. Rest is history."
"But I can't punch her without attracting scandals, what should I do?"
"Think of a great revenge that may or may not draw specific attention to yourself."
Think monkey, think.
It was time for cake. She stood with Andrew, about to slice a part of the cake. I removed the stone in my pocket, stood at the back of the crowd, and threw it on the cake, and rushed back in the crowd without anyone noticing.
Everyone except for the gang, which is dealable.
We left soon, making sure to avoid any type of ruckus. After we waited till we got on the bus, everyone congratulated me for splashing the cake with that stone, it left quite a bit of mess.
Author's note: This one was kinda short, but I'm happy with it nonetheless.
