"Gimme the strongest one please." I said, with a hint of noticeable sadness.

"Rough day huh?" The bartender said.

"Yeah."

"Did you love her?"

"Absolutely." I said. "Wait, how did you know?"

"I'm a bartender. It's my job."

I gave him a look. 'The' look.

"That pretty girl over there told me." He said, pointing.

I rolled my eyes. "That's Veronica, she's my bandmate."

"She's great, why don't you go for her instead?"

"First of all, we're good friends and band buddies, nothing else. Second, she's out of literally every guy's league. Even Matthew."

"Who's Matthew? Another bandmate?"

"Sort of. I work for two bands simultaneously. One is 'Sunshine', the pop band which I prefer, and a rock band called 'Moonrise'. Veronica is in Sunshine meanwhile Matthew is in Moonrise."

"Betcha, is he here?"

I pointed the the secluded corner and said, "look at that corner with the wavy haired dude making out with the brunette over there."

"Damn son!"

"Don't call him son, he doesn't really like it." I said scornfully, waiting for my friends to come. My order came, which was a drink called 'Night in Orlando.' I downed the whole glass without a second thought, definitely not my proudest moment. But the occasion called for it.

"That'll be it for you buddy." A voice called out. I would recognize it whenever, even asleep.

"Hey Rish, how's the night?"

"Damn, I haven't gotten this wasted since I left home to join this band." He said, slowly draining his beer. "I am seriously enjoying every second of this." He said sitting beside me indignantly with a glass in his hand.
"What about the time you broke down on stage?" I said.

"The lyrics were so sad, dude! I mean seriously how would you feel if your love left you because her ex rumored your reputation of a polygamous drunken bastard and now you don't want to do anything except be with her? I mean seriously, that's just sad."

"What about during the rehearsals?"

"They didn't hit that hard during the rehearsals."

"But seriously Rish? Did your parents not let you have any alcohol?"

"I snuck away with 'em for a good few times. Never after that."

"Hm." I grunted.

"Hey, there are so many beautiful girls here. You can check one."

He wasn't wrong, there were so many girls there. But after the break up, I wasn't in the mood.
"I don't think so, I have better stuff to do."

"Like what? You're a 19 year old who's working in a band on a tour where the gig isn't in a few weeks, in a bar after his break up ordering the strongest drinks here. What other stuff are you going to do?"

"You're right actually, I can pick up a girl here."

He pointed to a beautiful redhead in the distance. "What about her? She kinda looks like Veronica."

"Uh Rish?"

"Yeah?"

"That is Veronica."

"Ohh. That's why she looked so similar."
