My Beloved Sunshine

Stage day and CJ

As we were all getting in the van, a familiar face approached us.

"Hey Sunshine, can I come with y'all?"

"Hey CJ, how you doin?"

"Shawn! Not bad."

"No!" Sylvin yelled. "He's a guy from Moonrise, they're eternal rivals!"

"Chill out Syl, he's a good guy despite being a Moonriser."

"Maybe he's acting nice and then he'll betray us."

"Shut up Sylvin, I agree with Shawn. CJ is actually cool."

"Thanks Veronica."

"Yea Syl, he's a good man."

"Okay, but you better not bite us in the ass CJ."

"I won't."

We were all unfortunately crammed in the van though. Like, we had no space to even breathe, Donny comfortably sat in the front driving and Veronica called shotgun. Ellis volunteered to sit on my lap, and me being me I said yes.

Unfortunately she isn't very steady while sitting so I had to wrap my arms around around her waist so she wouldn't bang her head anywhere.

While we were travelling, CJ was constantly giving us (Ellis and I) looks that were both sweet and kinda creepy.

"Hey, are you two dating?"

"Why does everyone keep asking us that?"

"Cuz you both look adorable."

"Sorry CJ, we both are good buddies."

We drove for a while then I realised that I had to message Adelaide. I took my phone out and started typing fast, I got a response rather quickly.

'Hey, this is our location for practice. How close is your house from this place?'

'Not very close, just tell me when you want to meet, I'll pick you up.'

'Thank you.'

'Don't thank me, you're doing me a favour by visiting my siblings.'

'That's also true, anyways see ya.'

"Shawn who are you talking to? We're all here."

"Nobody."

"Ohhhh, it's that chick huh?"

"I have no idea what you're talking about."

"You sly dog, planning a first date?"

"Shut up, Slyvin."

"Wait what's happening?"

"Alright my dear V, listen. Shawny came home late last night and according to Rish, he had a goofy grin on his face. My biggest speculation is that he met a girl out at night and is planning a date with her."

"How did you get that, man?"

"I'm smart, bro."

"Shawn got a date with a girl? Good job, man." Raven said.

The rest of the car ride was just everyone calling me stud and stuff.

We reached, but we had to wait for a while as Donny sorted stuff out with the stage manager guy. In the meanwhile, I texted Adelaide about our meet-up. She asked me where my stage was and after I sent her the adress she said, 'oh no, you went further away from my house. Just gimme a message or smth and then I'll pick u up'

I gave her a thumbs up and put my phone down. Sylvin came near and sat beside me.

"Hey Syl, what's up?"
