Chapter 15 ~ Did I make the right decision?

*Kiara's POV*

I've been avoiding literally everyone I can, even the teachers. I know that sounds impossible but it's doable when you know pretty much all you need to know to get by.

I've been hanging around in the library, I know Fred won't come looking for me here, he wouldn't even dare step foot into the library.

I've been debating whether I should go back to Bauxbatons, but this place isn't as bad. I just need to get over myself and stop being so self centered.

I love Fred, but I don't want to drag him down into this depression with me...Maybe I made a really big mistake. I should have spoken to him about it first before just breaking up with him.

But will he take me back? I wouldn't blame him if he doesn't after the way I've treated him, I'm surprised I haven't had a lecture from him, yet.

These DA meetings have been going great. For one thing, they've been helping me keep my mind on track, for now.

I'm not going to talk to her. If Kiara wants to talk then by all means, I'll talk. But I'm not making the first move anymore.

A silver ghostly red panda jumps in front of me and starts chasing all the other patronus'.

My patronus is a angel fish.

Who's is the red panda?

"Sorry about that, my patronus just ran off and started chasing everyone else's"

I laugh at the small blonde, Hufflepuff girl talking to me. That's the funniest thing I've heard all day.

"Oh sorry, I'm Paige by the way, Paige Faery"

"Fred Weasley"

"Oh yeah, you're with that Bauxbatons girl, what's her name again? Kara?"

"Kiara. Yeah we're not together anymore"

Paige looks at me with sympathy in her eyes. I know she wants to ask why but doesn't want to cross the line.

"If you need to talk, I know we don't know each other but if you need anyone, I've got more than enough time"

"Thanks"

I smile and reply politely. A loud banging noise rattles through the room. The patronus' fade into the air like smoke.

The noise get louder and louder, causing the chandeliers to rattle universe out heads. I'm scared they're going to break and fall.

"I'll make short work of this. Bombada maxima"

And with that, the wall in front of us explodes and pieces of dabre fly everywhere. I shield Paige from the rubble and as the dust settles I see Malfoy and his clan, Umbridge and Cho.
