»I can't believe those are your dogs,« Dani said, not for the first time upon entering the café a while ago.

After the first initial shock of having an FC Barcelona player in his coffee shop, Silvio had quickly taken it upon himself to prepare the coffee-to-go Dani had ordered, before embarrassing Lorelai by asking him for a quick photo with his phone (which Lorelai of all people had to make). After that, Silvio had disappeared in the back room; probably showing Marina the picture. It was a small miracle she hadn't come out yet to take a look at the footballer herself. Well, yet anyways. If it had been Neymar on the other hand....

Dani's coffee-to-go now sat on the counter, slowly growing cold. He apparently wasn't that much in a hurry, leisurely caressing Dante and Khan alternatively and by this effectively stopping Jane's plan to leave the café and finally go home. The redhead didn't mind though; she was happy to talk to the eccentric footballer.

»Yes, I'm full of surprises,« Lorelai replied to Dani's comment.

»So you know the video will go online on Monday?« Jane asked him.

Lorelai looked up from preparing drinks (a young couple had sat down on the terrace earlier) to find Dani nodding. »Yeah, we can't wait for it!« he exclaimed. »Especially maninho. He's all excited, running in circles. Annoying the rest of us with it.«

»Who?« Lorelai asked.

»Oh, that's what I call Neymar.«

»Excited, you say? I wonder why,« Jane said, pointedly throwing Lorelai a look, who ignored her friend and turned back to the drinks. Dani snickered.

»Instead of acting like teenagers, why don't you go back to being the adults that you are and get over it?« Lorelai said as she took the cups in her hands.

Not waiting for another reaction, she made her way to the terrace and put the drinks down in front of the couple. She smiled at their thank yous before going back inside.

»So do you work here everyday?« Dani wanted to know the moment she came back inside.

He leant on the counter, a hand around his to-go cup, looking ready to leave. Finally, Lorelai thought. She couldn't wait for this whole FC Barcelona affair to be over with. Not that she had anything against Dani. But this whole thing had grown out of proportions for her; she felt like treading way outside her comfort zone. Which, given, wasn't comfortable.

»No,« Lorelai answered, taking her usual position of standing behind the counter. »I work three shifts on weekdays and until closing time on Sunday.«

»And you work with your therapy dogs too?«

»Yes,« she said, wondering where he got the information from. »Between classes.«

Dani raised an eyebrow. »Sounds like a busy schedule.«

»It can be. It works, though. Thanks to my bestest friend in the world helping me out with the dogs once in a while,« she said, glancing at Jane.
