AIVYLLIN
Rose gold or lavender?
Maganda naman both shades since light lang naman ang tone. Kasalukuyan kaming namimili ng satin dress for Haidee na susuotin niya for her graduation's after party.
Pero alam mo naman gaano ka-strict sila dad right? Para namang di ka pa nasanay." I told her for the 100th time that day.
"Hays, ang arte naman. Wala namang nakasulat sa party na bawal suit for women. What in the sexist world is this." Sagot niya naman for like 200th time that day.
Not to mention, sasayaw ka in heels. 18 dances, Dee!"
"Damn, I know right.. but don't worry, I'll be out of here before that happens." Di ko na narinig yung huli niyang sinabi dahil nga nahihirapan na akong pumili between rose gold and lavender. Punyeta!
We spent another 30 minutes inside the boutique. Just me trying to convince her to at least try checking the dresses out, screw the color! So I figured, if payagan ko siyang mamili by her own, baka may sumakto sa likings niya.
"Fine."
Nakasunod lang ako sa kanya while she go through the racks. Grabe! Reject agad pag bright colors! Another thing, bakit kami nasa commoners' section? What did I expect? She's not Haidee if she favors expensive stuffs.
I remembered nung 10th birthday niya, our original plan was a trip to Disney land at Anaheim, California. Kaso si birthday girl naman, tumaliwas sa plano saying; "Amusement park lang pala gusto niyo, dyan nalang tayo sa Enchanted Kingdom." and you probably know what happened next. Syempre siya nasunod! Birthday nya eh, sino ba naman kami diba?
"How about this? Wait let me try it out." Finally!!
"This looks fine, ate Aivy."
But what can I say, she might not like feminine clothes, Pero Dee is the epitome of perfection. I'm quite sure, if a perfect human exists, that would be Haidee.
She looked like a model in her maroon fitted satin dress. Mini-slit sa left part, highlighting her flawless leg. Ends mid-thigh. The back part is literally nothing except those strings that were crossed one another.
As for her accessories, she chose a Burgundy thin choker. She also had the left side of her hair pinned upwards by a simple yet elegant hair clip with an anchor design on it and hanging silver threads that flowed like ocean waves. Lastly, she wore a four-inches tall; matte, blood-red narrow heels with pointed front end paired with a ruby anklet.
Mas lalo pa siyang pinatangkad ng heels with her original 5'3 stature. Tall for a 12 year old pero tatangkad pa siya lalo, late bloomer pa naman si Dee. What can I say, matatangkad talaga lahi namin eh. Si Vino nga 5'11 and a half na kahit grade 8 palang. Also, Dimitri is already 5'7 tall despite having the same age as Dee.
