RONAN

It's just so dumb, we all know they're gonna get back together sooner or later. Knowing Joseph, he preferred sooner.

What made the situation worse is the alcohol. The combination of Joseph and alcohol was never a good thing. This is why I don't make commitments when it comes to romance. I doubt there is any romance in my life except for my mom and dad.

"Should I ask Aivyllin for help?"

That's when he caught my attention.

Aivyllin, as in THE Graceo heiress?

"Why would you need to bother her? Fix your own problem Seph. No need to involve people."

Why would he need to ask her for help? He should just talk to Trina about the conflict.

"Yeah, right. I really shouldn't. Specially now, Aivyllin might have it tough at home."

Right.

That thing.

I almost admired them and their skills when it comes to silencing an issue.

"Ano kaya talagang nangyari sa bunso nila?" Seph asked curiously.

Yeah, I wonder.

"Keep your nose out of it Joseph. It's none of our business."

Rather than voicing my curiosity, I told him to drop the topic.

We might end up uncovering something bigger than we bargained for.

Weeks after that talk with Joseph, I found my brother acting weird.

I should've gotten the hint by just the way he was staring into space, not moving his food. An act he always does when he's thinking about something else. But still, this look of his is different from those times when he's just simply minding his weight gain or game loss.

He almost looked worried.

For someone else.

That's rare.

Maybe I'm wrong.

I planned to just stay silent...

*CLANG* He dropped his fork.

*SLLSHH* His glass is overfilled yet he's still pouring water into it.

*SKSKSK* HE'S FUCKING CUTTING THE AIR RATHER THAN THE STEAK.

...Until I couldn't anymore.
