"Trina, mag-isip ka nga. Yung ganyang itsura ba na yan, posibleng single ha?!"
"So inaamin mo ngang gwapo siya? Wow, is this what they call character development?!"

I'm right. They are talking about him.
Ronan Villaña.
Of course it's him. Why haven't I figured that one out? Matalino naman talaga si Ronan. Di na nakakagulat na naipanalo niya ang quiz bee.
I just ignored his presence and enjoyed the party. I knew I couldn't be friends with him. Not with the person I'm being compared the most.

Tinatanong pa ni Trina kung bakit parang nagulat ako nung nakita ko si Ronan. Pero di na niya natuloy nung may nakita siyang lumapit sa amin, sa may bandang likuran ko. Ba't parang nag-on ata flirty mode niya?!?!
I immediately regretted my decision of turning around the moment I saw who it is.

Joseph, yung recent ex ni Trina na hanggang ngayon iniiyakan niya parin. Bulag ata to si Trina eh, halata namang gusto parin siya neto. Nilalanggam na nga ako sa tinginan palang nila. Sinasaktan lang nila sarili nila pota!
Nakalimutan kong bestfriend nga pala to ni Ronan. Di na nakakapagtaka kasi elite din naman si Joseph. Di nga lang ganun kataas ang posisyon nila, pero mas mayaman parin sila compared sa normal elites like Trina. Even the lowest of elites are rich as hell so wala naman talagang mahirap samin pero may food chain parin syempre.
"Hello ladies, hope youre having a pleasant night. Gusto ko lang ipakilala si Ronan sainyo. He is my childhood friend. Ronan, this is Trina and Aivyllin, my friends."
Friends naman talaga kasi sila ni Trina before sila naging magjowa. Medyo nalungkot pa ang tono ng boses ni Joseph noong pinakilala niya si Trina as just 'friend'.
"Good to see you, Ms. Lacson and Ms. Graceo." He said while offering his hand for a handshake.
Just as I thought.
Hindi naman tanga yan si Ronan. Alam kong kilala niya na kami. He's a silent observer after all.
Wala namang mali kung magpapakilala lang right?
At that night, I had my first and most probably my last handshake with the Villaña's heir.
