"i swear, i will find a way to destroy this thing!"

Seems like everyone is doing swell, except for Dream… that leg looked horrible…

Seeing Red's reaction to the 'notification', Sans assumed they got spammed too.

'Reminder! Go Back To The Spot!' The tune was ringing in his head…

"so, anyways, what'd i miss?"

"everything."

"welp, catch me up then."

"W-" They were suddenly cut off by a ping.

"We should probably listen to the… thing."

"Yeah, I don't want to be spammed again… and we can tell you what happened along the way."

"i saw a small cave when I was looking for you-know-who, we can go there."

"do i get a say in this?"

"nope."

"…fuck you." A quiet snicker came from the human.

"Sandy, do you want me to carry you again?" Dream got flushed quickly and was going to argue, but instead sighed.

"You're not gonna let me say no, are you…?"

"Well you gotta be carried by someone. Your leg could get worse!"

"Al-alright, fine!" Dream was picked up, and shamefully mumbled, "Where's the cave?"

"follow me," Classic continued, "it's near a river too, so no worries about water." He shuddered unnoticeably to the others.

"After we get there I'll look for food, if it's not too dark."

"sounds like a plan."

It turned out to be quite close, surprisingly, and to everyone's delight. They all quickly went inside and checked the layout. And as planned, it wasn't too dark. So the lone human went out for food. Dream patted their leg for some reason… but still, they left the copies to speak.

"We should grab firewood for the night, Stick's out so-"

"stick? really? along with the weird pat shit?" Red teased.

"Oh shush, which of you should get the wood?"

"us?"

"Well I can't exactly move!" Dream gestured to his leg, they hated the sight. You'd figure after all those genocide runs they'd be desensitized. Especially Red.

"ugh! jeez! i'll go! just-just don't point that out!" The aforementioned skeleton stepped out of the cave, shaking in disgust.

.
..

Classic noticed rain. A light drizzle, like in Waterfall. Only difference was that the sky was kinda green. Things on the surface were pretty different, weren't they? Never did get to see… not for too long anyways. Only that sun. That scene.

The first thing you noticed was the smell. It had a strong, musky scent. The smell was faint when you first went out but it only grew from then. It shouldn't have gotten that potent that quickly. You looked to the clouds.

They were large, bulky, and dark. A green tinge tainted the sky as those clouds loomed over you, tauntingly.

A storm was coming in, a big one. And very soon. As in moments.

You frantically stuffed the berries you found in your pant's pockets. Were you glad you had your hiking clothes on… they were useful. You should grab something to protect the opening of the cave too. A few branches should be good. Those were near there so it wouldn't be much of a hassle to grab them.

But before you could even get the least bit closer to the cave, the wind started to pick up. Then the first drops fell.

Without thinking you ran to the nearest cover, away from the cave.

A nearby ditch had protected your frame for a while, but in no time it was flooding. Mud covered you from head to toe. Getting out, the wind thrashed you around violently. The best you could do was to go as quickly as possible to the cave, was it east? The wind's force was growing once more. Looking to the sky would make you even more panicked, not to mention you couldn't see well. You could hear slight pings. The rain was coming down so heavy that it looked like a singular stream of water. A strike of lightning hit the ditch you were once in.

Go!

"it's been a damn hour, where the hell are they?!"

"the rain probably has something to do with it!"

"no shit!"

The men, those who could still stand, had blocked the cave with as much as they could. Rocks, branches, moss, whatever worked and stuck to the barricade stayed.

Through their short glimpses of the storm, however, there was a large tornado. Thunder could barely be heard over the sound of the rain and rushing wind. Was it always like this on the surface? They thought those trashed movies were just overdramatizing…

"-lo?!"

A strained yell came from behind the blocked entrance.

"Anyone there?!" The holler grew closer as the wind blew harder.

"Check outside!"

"what?!"

"There's someone out there!"

*Crack!*

"Oh! Shit!"

"you do it! we're busy!"

Dream dragged himself to a small opening in the barricade, seeing Stick struggling with a large log pinning them down… and the whirlwind looming closer behind them.

"I don't care what you're doing right now! Help is needed!"

"we can't!"

"Just-!"

A deep thud cut Dream off. He looked through the peephole again.

The log was off Stick, thanks to the wind, but they were holding onto the ground for their life.

"Come over to the moss!" Dream stuck his hand through the hole and made it large enough for them to crawl in.

Stick scooted over as fast and carefully as they could, reaching their hand out, Dream grabbed it.

But… the human lost their hold. The mud made it too slippery. So the wind took a hold of them and the barrier.

All four were sucked up into the raging wind, and blacked out.

The same log hit Stick in the head as they were torn from the ground.

Dream passed out from the sheer pain in his leg.

Red lost his breath despite the howling winds around him.

And Classic, once again, was thrown in water.

You opened your eyes to find a familiar fireplace. It was spinning. Even so you sat up, or tried to, only to feel something on your chest…

No… someone?
