"I can walk on my own!"
"I don't believe it…" A loud voice grumbled.
You groaned, "I'm-" And tripped over your welcome mat.
The sharp thud awoke Sans, who quickly hid behind the door, his exhaustion still in effect as he struggled to keep his eyes open.
"Ouch…you okay?" Someone hissed. Their voice was low in pitch, slightly hoarse.
"Yup! Totally fine!" The human. The hell happened?
"You can go now, I'm inside!"
"Nope!" You groaned.
"Fawn-"
"Don't 'Fawn' me sib…" Sib? Oh he's taking advantage of that.
If he gets out of this.
You sighed, "Help me out here, Al?"
"Uh… I think I'll leave you two to it, besides I need to… get back to work." The voice was the one who asked you if you were okay before. A slamming door soon followed after 'Al's' words.
"…Fuck you too"
To your dismay.
"Oh, sibby~"
"Oh, Scogoney~" You mocked her in an over exaggerated baby voice.
It was quiet for a while.
"I'm fine, Fawn." Your voice was sincere. Hurt.
"Bullshit! You almost passed out walking here!" 'Fawn' was clearly upset. Sounded like she was about to cry.
"Well I…" He decided to tune you two out. While looking for a better place to hide, his pinpricks fell to the note in front of the door.
"…You know what?! I think I'll stay with you! How does that sound?!" She was stomping down the hall, where Sans was.
Fuck.
"Fawn!" You were following her with softer but quick steps.
Sans grabbed the note and pulled it back to him just before the door opened with a slam. To his foot.
He winced back into the wall.
"Look, Tree, I don't care if my room is messy!" To be fair he got up in quite the hurry. Thanks to someone. "I will stay here if you keep fucking lying!" She didn't notice him. You entered the room as well, keeping the door wide open. Enough room for him to hide and escape, given the right timing.
Fawn sighed and slowly walked over to the bed facing away from the door, and so, Sans. His chance was now. He quickly went behind you, glanced up, and stuck to the wall outside of the room.
"I'm worried about you. Okay? I'm worried." Fawn continued, with a creak to accompany it. "You always don't care for yourself. And it's just gotten worse since…" She stopped herself with a whimper. The silence after was tense. Melancholic.
Another creak came from the room.
"I'm sorry." You sighed, though Sans barely heard you. Then sniffing started. Presumably Fawn. "F-Fawn… hey. It's okay." You were muttering comfort to her.
He shouldn't be here for this.
He looked down into his hand, which held the note.
*hey, sorry for that whole thing, im probably at work rn. feel free to explore! (dont go in my room tho pls- its the door with the stuff on the rims)
p.s.- the laundry room is in the room next to the kitchen, your clothes should be dry
p.p.s- if anyone comes in the house the attic is safe(its just old haha)
Could've used that earlier. Couldn't risk going up there now though. It might alert her.
Looking up from the note, Sans assumed that the best place to stay away was the laundry room. His clothes were there anyway.
a/n- sorry for the short chapter! I'll try to get another one out by the end of Dec.
