Chapter Eight: Dinner.

I also was apparently paying for everybody. The second I got there and sat down Calico and his stupid girlfriend Vex claimed they had 'forgotten' both of their wallets then pushed me under the bus by saying I should pay. Lexi showed up about ten minutes late due to traffic and then sat down next to me. I gave her a point five-second glare before picking up my menu and giving it a look.

"Calico do NOT spend all of my money or I will be making you pay for me next time and I won't be so nice about what I order."

He put his hands up in defense and gave his dumb grin.

"Alright alright, I promise we won't!"

I gave a small huff and then continued. As my eyes scanned the menu I noticed a lot of expensive things my money couldn't really pay for. I mentally crossed my fingers hoping that Calico would go easy on the food. Soon enough our waiter had come over and got all of our drinks. Mine is a sprite. Calico coke. Vex with her special that not even I know how to pronounce. And finally Lexi with simple water.

Vex and Calico chatted non-stop while I nervously scooted away from Lexi. I was on the inside of the booth however so I couldn't really do anything when she did the same but toward me. I looked at her and she had this smug look on her face like she just did something useful. As if things could get worse she puts her hand on top of mine. Mason this is going too far. "I have to go to the bathroom." I said stated abruptly. Everybody looked at me as I stood up and scooted past Lexi and slid into the bathrooms. Why me?
