"Never Forgotten" (Sequal to Unexpected)

Chapter Twenty Three

I was woken up a couple times from nurses and doctors coming in to check on Calum, they said everything was going fine and that he should wake up in a couple hours.

I had gotten myself more coffee and a muffin since it was now 8 in the morning and everyone had left. The rest of the boys came and said goodbye around 7 I felt so horrible to have to see them like that. And them having to see there best friend and brother like that. Dani and Becca came in together before the boys and said there goodbyes.

Then I was left just sitting in that chair mostly watching Calum and I also had the tv on but I wasn't really watching it. I've been sitting in the chair for about an hour I've only gotten about 3 hours of sleep if you could even call it that.

Calum's parents where gonna be here at 8 something then I was gonna have someone get me and bring me back to Calum's house so I could clean up then come back.

I took a sip of my coffee then rubbed my eyes and yawned, I moved and sat on the side of Calum's bed I held his hand in mine and sighed I just wanted him to wake up. The swelling in his face went away and his hands weren't as cold I was still so worried with the thought of what if he was in pain. But the doctors said he couldn't be because of all the morphine.

I heard the door open and in walks Joy I smile at her and she smiles back, "Don is just getting us coffee, how are you sweetie?" Joy asked as she stood on the other side of the bed by Calum as she rubbed his cheek and forced a smile.

I frown a little and look at her, "I'm alright just tired" I say and smile a little, "How are you?" I ask and bit my lip. "Oh I'm alright also sweetie, you should head back home to get some rest. Don and I have to talk to the Doctor anyways" Joy says as she smiles over at me. I nod my head and smile as I finally let go of Calum's hand and stands up. "The car is up front waiting for you" Joy say as she now moves to my side and hugs me. I hug back and smile then turn and look down at Calum. I bite my lip and lean down an place a soft kiss on his lips. "I love you so much, wake up soon please love" I whisper as I smiles and say bye to Joy as I grab my stuff and leave the room.

I hugged and said bye to Don and told him I would be back soon as I made my way to the door and was shocked to see so many fans I guessed and reporters and photographer's. How did people find out so fast. I thought as one of the body guards lead me to the car as people screamed my name and was asking me questions.

The questions they asked made me tear up as they asked is he dead or was it my fault and other questions. So many pictures where being taken as the body guard trys to hide my face as I cried. Fans where screaming for them to stop which I was greatful for because I new I wasn't the only person who loves that boy. We finally got to the car and they helped me in.

It was all so new to me, having these body guards and people wanting my picture just because I was dating one of the boys from a band I made a note to ask Danielle how she deals with it.

I sat in the backseat and whipped away my tears I smile as one of the body guards handed me a box of tissues. "Thank you, for all that back there" I says as we drove to Calum's house, "It's are job, no need to thank us" one of the guys says and smiles at me. I nod my head then looked out the window thinking of how the accident had gotten out already. I grabbed my phone then cursed under my breath when I saw it was died. I sigh and lean my head against the window and close my eyes.

I was woken up by one of the guys shaking my shoulder, "Where here sweetie" He says as I smile as they opened the door for me. "Just call us when you wanna be picked up alright?" The other guy says and I smile and nod. I thanked them as I took the key Joy gave me and unlocked the door and walked inside I close the door and sigh as I looked around the house it was so weird being the only one there.
