"Never Forgotten" (Sequal to Unexpected)

Chapter Twenty Four

I spent the day with Calum in his room, the doctors said he needed to stay another night so they could keep him monitored and he could possibly go home the next day if his heart rate and everything else was level.

"You okay?" I ask as Calum winced in pain a little, "Yeah just my side hurts" Calum says as he rubs his side. "Want me to go get a nurse?" I ask as I was about to get up from the bed he took my hand an pulled me back to him. "I'm fine baby" Calum says and smiles as he kisses the side of my head.

"Okay" I say and smile a little as I lean my head now on his shoulder and rub his side as I listened as he took slow breathes and realized just how lucky I was to hear him breathing the doctors even said if someone didn't call in time that he wouldn't have made it and that thought scared me.

"Jess" Calum says as he brought me out of my thoughts and I look up at him, "I said your name like twice are you okay?" He asked as he moved my hair out of my face and had a worried look.

I bit my lip as I thought if I should tell him about the cuts or not, was it the right time to say anything? I thought and sighed. "I have to tell you something baby" I say as I looked at him.

Calum just looked worried and it was as if he already realized what I was gonna say, "Baby why did you do it" Calum ask as he frown and tried to hold back tears. He really did know we well I thought as I frowned as a few tears rolled down my cheeks.

"Because of everyone saying it was my fault and I believed them.." I whisper as I whipped away the tears that began falling. "Don't think that baby, this was all on me it's my fault I should of known my limit. But you should hurt yourself like that baby please you have to promise to stop this" Calum says as tear rolled down his cheeks.

I couldn't help but cry as I saw him crying it was so hard to just say I was gonna stop because it something that will haunt you forever but for him I would do anything for him and if he wanted me to try and stop I would do that. I simply just nod my head and look up at his beautiful brown eyes, "I promise baby" I say as I whipped away his tears and frown.

"I'll help you baby" Calum says as he lifts up my sleeve and looks at the scars and new cuts that where on my wrist. He ran his fingers crossed my wrist then bent down and kissed it. "A beautiful girl like you doesn't deserve to have these marks on his skin" Calum says as he now looks at me.

I just smiled a little then brought his lips to mine and gave him a quick kiss, but Calum pulled me back as I was about to pull away and he deepened the kiss. We stayed like that for awhile just kissing with so much passion and lust. "I love you more than anything" I whispers as I broke away from the kiss.

Calum just smiles and brought my lips back to his again and kissed me again before moving to my neck and left little kisses, "And I love you Jess" Calum says as he pulls away and looks at me.

Just in time as we pulled away from eachother a nurse walked in to talk Calum's blood for a blood test. I looked at the time and was surprised to see it was already 7 o'clock at night Calum's parents already left around 6 and I told them I might be home later but I think I'm just gonna stay here with Calum for the night.

We had dinner earlier but I was now getting hungry again so I gave Calum and quick kiss before they took his blood and I told him I was gonna go find a snack.

I left the room and walked down the halls and found myself at the cafeteria. They where about to close for the night when I saw they had icecream I looked at it then jumped as someone tapped my shoulder.

I turn around to see what I guessed was a busboy, I smiled a little at him, "Do you want some?" The guy asked as he looked at the icecream. "If you guys are closing I don't want to be a bother" I say as I was about to walk away. "Don't worry about it, I'm the only one here they left me to close up. I'll get you some" the guy says and nods his head and went behind the counter.

I just chuckles then smile, "What flavor?" The guy asked and laughed a little. I looked down at all the different flavors till I spotted mine and Calum's favorite kind. "Mint chocolate chip please, could I maybe get two please so I can bring some for my boyfriend?" I ask and smile. "Of course kosher problem" the guy says as he gets two bowls and fills them and hands them to me. I reach for my wallet to pay him and he stops me. "It's on me don't worry" the guy says and smiles.

I was shocked but then smiled, "Well thank you" I say and looked up at him and grabbed the two bowls of icecream. "Enjoy" the guys says and nods his head and smiles. I smile back and walked to the door. "I never caught your name" I say as I turn to look back at the guy who was now cleaning a table.

"It's Jonathan" He says and smiles towards me. "Well thank you again Jonathan" I say and smile again then laugh a little.

"You're welcome Jessica" Jonathan says and I was taken back I never told him my name, "How did you know my name?" I ask a little shocked.

"I'm a friend of "Calum's so that's why I new who you where, don't worry I'm not some crazy guy plus you guys are all over the news and social media" Jonathan says and laughs. I laugh a little I should of known, "Well thank you again Jonathan" I say and laugh as I waved bye and he waved back as I took mine and Calum's icecream back to the room.

I opened the door and was happy to see the nurse finishing up, "Can he eat this?" I asked and laughed a little, "Yeah that's fine" the nurse says and smiles at me as she cleaned up and left the room.

I moved to the bed and sat down beside Calum and handed him his bowl, "Mint chocolate chip, you no me so well" Calum says and laughs as he kisses my cheek. I giggle and eat some of my icecream, "Yeah your friend who works here Jonathan gave it to me for free" I say and smile a little.

"Yeah Jon is one of my good friends, that was nice of him to do that" Calum says and smiles at me as he ate his icecream. I nod my head and continued to eat my icecream.

Calum and I finished eating and I threw away are bowls, "Are you staying tonight?" Calum asks and smiles, "Only if you want me too" I say and giggle. "Of course I do baby" Calum says and smiles as he moves over for me.

"I don't want to squish you I can sleep in the chair" I say and laugh, "Babe get up here" Calum says and laughs as finally move over to him and lay down beside him. He pulls the covers over us and I look up at him. "I'll turn on a move for us" I say and laugh as I grabbed the remote and looked through the movies so I decided to just watch Frozen since that was the only good movie on.

"Really babe" Calum says and laughs looking at me, "Hey its a good movie and nothing else better is on" I say and laugh as I rolled over on my side as I wrap my arm around his side and lay my head on his chest. After some time of watching the movie I could here Calum snoring a little and I laughing knowing he passed out

I turned off the movie and looked up at him and smiled, "Night baby" I say and giggle as I kisses his cheek and cuddled up to his side again then found myself falling asleep in the arms of my one true love.
