Chapter 11

Liam's POV

We had just told Harry, Zayn, Niall, and Louis what Natalie had just told me. They were also shocked when she told them. Natalie also begged them not to call the police when they tried to. But I don't get why Natalie doesn't want to call the police. Her father deserves to be behind bars for what he did. It breaks my heart thinking of him hurting the love of my life and her adorable little brother like that. I looked over at Natalie. She looked gorgeous with her shirt, shorts, messy bun, and makeup-free face. Even the hottest celebrity couldn't look prettier than her. Oh God! When did I become such a sap?

Anyway we all agreed that Natalie's friend Rose would come over in the morning and get Jack to his bus on time. And after this week was over Lisa said that Natalie and Jack could stay at her house. She said she would ask her parents about how long they could stay. When school was over Natalie and Jack would drive to Pennsylvania and live with their mother. But I'm going to miss Natalie. If I'm having a bad day she'll brighten it up and make me smile. Natalie also showed us what her Dad told her. That scared the shit out of me and probably everyone else. We had to be careful and definitely had to call the police. I hope Natalie makes her decision soon. Natalie's friends told me that me, Harry, Niall, Zayn, and Louis could help by watching over Natalie and Jack in and out of school to keep them from their father. But they told me not to tell my family about Natalie being my girlfriend until she's completely safe from her Dad.

"We should probably head home before our parents get worried about where we are" Harry told his friends. "We should" Louis agreed. All of us kissed our girlfriends before leaving. Soon Rose, Carly, Lisa, and Victoria left as well.

Natalie's POV

"Naty who will take us to school tomorrow?" Jack asked me. "Well Jack do you know my friend Rose?" I asked him. Jack nodded. "Well she will help you get ready for school and will take you to your bus stop. Then I'll pick you up after school" I told him. "But how will you get to school Naty?" Jack asked me. I told him "I'll walk to school like I always do".

Later I took Jack to a park near the hotel so he wasn't bottled up inside all day. Jack seemed happy as he played. We were the only people here. And it was so pretty here. Then I saw something I never wanted to see again-my Dad walking around with a pissed look on his face.

I knew immediately that he was looking for us. He was right when he said he'll find us and make sure we don't get to our mother. Who knows what he'd do if he saw us. I quickly and quietly grabbed my brother and hid behind a bush with him. I tried to keep Jack from seeing Dad or he'd live in fear for who knows how long. But Jack did spot him and gasped quietly. "Daddy" he told me in a scared voice.

"Jack we need to be quiet so Daddy doesn't see us. Can you be quiet for your big sister?" I told him. "Yes" he whispered to me and stayed quiet. I kept a close eye on Dad while holding Jack extremely close to me. I kept praying that Dad wouldn't come over to where we were. Luckily he didn't. Thank God! Once I was completely sure he was gone I ran with Jack back to the hotel as fast as I could. Once we got into the room Jack hugged me tight and started crying while telling me "Naty I'm scared. I don't want Daddy to hurt me or you again. Is Daddy a bad guy?" I told Jack "Yes. Daddy is a very, very bad guy. But don't worry. He doesn't know where we are and he won't find you. I will never let Daddy hurt you Jack. I will always protect you. I love you very much" I told him. We hugged for a long time.

Then I made dinner for myself and Jack-chicken pasta that you heat up in a microwave. After we ate I changed Jack into his favorite pajamas with Toy Story characters on them. I let him play and watch TV while I showered and straightened my hair. At 8:00 I told Jack it was time for bed and read him a bedtime story. As I was about to get up he grabbed my arm and asked me "Naty can you please stay with me?" I decided to stay with him until he fell asleep cause I could tell he was still scared from the incident earlier today and he needed some comforting. I began to sing him a lullaby that I had learned from 'The Hunger Games'

When I finished I saw that Jack was sound asleep. I kissed him goodnight then changed into my pajamas. Then I went into the living room and watched an episode of Once Upon a Time that was on TV. At 10 I decided to go to bed. I set an alarm on my phone then got into the bed and fell asleep.
