Chapter 13

Liam's POV

I was just as shocked as everyone else once Natalie said that. But I understood what she meant even though I didn't have an abusive parent. "Wow. I never though about it from that point of view" Victoria said, breaking the silence.

"Even though I don't have an abusive father I know how you feel. Before I confessed my feelings to Lisa I went out with a girl named Bailey since I thought Lisa didn't feel the same way and I thought I needed to forget about her. But even though Bailey cheated on me and left me for another guy I still felt a love for her. Not the love you would confess to someone during a marriage proposal or a wedding but a sad love you know? Like from all the memories" Niall told me. I nodded. "Well Bailey must have been an idiot to let you go" Lisa told Niall. "Thanks Lisa. And just to be clear ever since we confessed our feelings for eachother and we became a couple my feelings for Bailey are gone forever. She means nothing to me. Your my girl now and forever" Niall told her. "I'd love that" Lisa told him with a small kiss. Aw! Niall and Lisa were so adorable together. They were meant for eachother and I'm glad Lisa found someone like Niall.

"That's exactly how I feel" Natalie said. "I don't love him anymore. I don't think I will ever again. But at the same time I can't let him go". She looked down as she said this probably afraid of what we might say. "Natalie if I were you I would have a hard time calling police on my own father also" Carly said. "We don't want to pressure you Natalie. We just want to protect you" Zayn said. "Yeah. Your Dad seemed pretty dangerous before. Now that you and your brother left him and he's looking for you I can't even imagine what he'll do" Louis added. "We just don't want you and your brother to go through this alone. We're all here for you Natalie and we really care about both of you. We want to help in whatever way we can" I told her. Natalie just started tearing up. I was worried I upset her but she said " Thank you all of you. I never thought this would ever happen. I'm just so grateful to have the best boyfriend and friends I could ever have" Natalie told all of us, hugging us all really tight. Then she kissed me for just a minute but it felt like forever because of how much I love the way she kisses and because of all the tingles of electricity and fireworks going off in me that I felt. I was so lucky I found a girl like Natalie and I never want to loose her.

Then her lips went off mine and Natalie told all of us "And I have been thinking about what you all have been saying about how I shouldn't stay silent. And I've made up my mind. Me and Jack won't ever be safe unless the police take care of my Dad. So when I have my next study hall I will go to the counselor and tell her everything that has happened to me and Jack for the past 5 years. I'm going to get help"

Yay! Natalie is finally going to tell someone. Since it's summer I'll have more time to update and maybe I'll finish this book over the summer or maybe not because of my procrastination
