From the days since Papyrus's last sighting by his brother, Undyne, and Frisk, the grounds now took more caution into the situation far more than what they thought their first reaction was gonna unfold. No traces of Papyrus were left around near the spot in the forest of that mysterious fight. The orange bones were the only piece of evidence the Royal Guard team could find since the day Undyne saw her best friend for the last time. She's been trying to get every late night guardsman and woman out into the Undergrounds to try and find her best friend, and a conclusion was reported of him possibly being moved around if they couldn't find him so soon. Plus, Papyrus was a tall monster so nobody thought he would be a hard soul to find, but boy did they have to think twice when a couple days turned into a couple weeks, then a full month before another.

Things can only get worse.

Family members were the ones taking it the hardest about the situation. Sans's sleep schedule has gone through the window. Undyne has started losing her sleep. Frisk barely continued their journey through the Undergrounds just for the lookout of their best friend. Mettaton has unfortunately learned how to mask a smile whenever he goes on stage for his lovely fans. Even complete strangers who only knew Papyrus because of Sans were a little hysterical about the sudden disappearance and death battle close to the Ruins.

The only evidence left around were filled with rotting roots and sharpened glowing orange bones with hysterical indigos and blues at the edges. Sans was never at the sight and was with Undyne the night the guards were called after the two fled the scene. Whatever happened must've been a nightmare for even the guards to flee from fighting back. Undyne was disappointed in the two guards for not fleeing but it gave her a chance to investigate the place. However, she wished she could explore the incident a little more. During a lunch break which ended up being a silent moment to think, she nearly suffocated and choked to death from an allergy blended in her food. After tests were scanned through her blood, it turned out to be pure blended soy nut mixture. She almost died from the reaction but she was however okay to still open her eyes. Little did she know that it was potential.

While she was in the hospital, her backup crew was on the night watch for Papyrus. He couldn' have gone far but because of the longevity the search was every day and night, they had to send more people out in case whatever happened, they could catch up to Papyrus somehow. Nobody could find any evidence since the day of the large boom of magic near the Ruins other than it being, now, off limits for anyone to cross. The bones were indeed from Papyrus through a magic DNA test and the last thing going into the facts folder was of something trying to attack the lost skeleton and Papyrus using his bones as self defense. It made some sense that someone was trying to attack him.

But then again, it was the guards being the only ones present and they claim to see Papyrus completely rattled up and frozen. They also say that they found a flower monster staying with him in the middle of the Snowy Forest. Neither did any know if that flower was against or beside Papyrus by the time they found him. Needless to say, they lost him and could barely remember the rest of the night after they were out cold to the head. Nobody ever went near the forest after the new broadcasted the battle scene, not even Sans went to listen to that woman at the Ruins, which was past the scenes limits.

As much sacrifice as it took, Sans felt his world completely falling apart. Last thing he remembers is his brother using a new move he must've learned when training at the backyard of their house. He didn't expect Papyrus to be strong in THAT move in such a quick period of time, let alone push everyone back after the wind encouraged it. Undyne even said she lost some HP from wind escaping her lungs after falling. Papyrus was the only one who knew how deadly that move actually was from the inside out, quite literally.
