Lea's POV
This was too exciting! I get to be neighbors with my new friend, Stray. Her room was just two inches away, within between the door frames. I could come hangout with her anytime I want. "Well, I guess we should go in." Stray pulled her key out from her handbag and pushed its way in the keyhole, twisted the doorknob and pulled. Her apartment space looked similar to mine except, a lot more emptier and no dirty clothes scattered around the floor. Although, if I were to come here often, and I plan to, that could change. Stray made her way over to the kitchen counter. "Do you want any coffee?" Stray asks me. "No, thank you. I don't drink caffeine." Which is true, I don't. I've never really had a taste for coffee or tea or energy drinks; I only drink water. "Well suit yourself. It's gonna be a long day, so don't you dare back out on me." She says as she takes a sip from her cup of freshly, brewed coffee. "Oh I wouldn't dream of it." I turn and walk a few steps to the back of where I had stood. There were five roll-on-wheel luggages; three large cases and two medium sized. I went for one of the large. "What are even in these cases? Bricks? Books? Stones? What?" Her luggage was barely moveable with what of all the items inside. Stray looked at me and smirked. "What? Give up already?" she mocks me. "Barely. I, the almighty Lea, am capable and powerful enough to take on one lousy luggage. Get it memorized." She rolls her eyes to the ceiling. "Yeah, yeah. Here, let me help you. If memory serves correctly, it was I who asked you for your help; not the other way around." Stray walks around from the counter and makes her way over. She kicks the standing luggage to the ground, now on its back. "And that's that." I give her an 'Oh really? That's it?' smug. She shrugs her shoulders. I bend down and unzip the first luggage. The carrier contained clothing. Lots and lots of clothing. It amazes me. Why do women need so many pairs of fabric? Each lining of cloth were folded neatly and already on its predetermined hanger. This shouldn't be too hard to put away. All I have to do is hang them up in the closet. "Where's your bedroom?" Stray points down the hallway on the right side of me. There are two entry ways. One on each side of the corridor. "My room's on the left and the right room is for guests to use." she says. I make my way towards her room and locate her closet that was just parallel to the side of the room I stood at. I turn the handle and look inside. A medium-sized threshold. Not too big and not too small, although, I'm not too sure if all her clothes would fit inside. It was Spring, so I start hanging the short sleeved shirts and capris on the pole. For more of a colder climax, I neatly fold and push them up on the top shelf. Alright! One down, just four more to go! I return back to the living area to see Stray had already unpacked one of the medium cases. It looked to contain video game consoles. Oh? So she's more than just a girly-girl. With what was in her first case, I could've been fooled. Two down, three to go! The second large luggage didn't seem all that heavy, unlike the first. I lay it down on its back gently just to be safe if there should be any valuables in there. I unzip this one and find a bunch of recording equipment. One tripod, two stage lights, one green-screen sheet, one mini, vlogging camera, and one iMac laptop. The laptop I would guess to where she would edit her videos. I remove the laptop from the carrier and hoist it on the center-living table. I zip up the carrier with the rest of the material inside and go set it down on her bedroom floor. Three down, two to go! "Hey, Lea. You can just move those other two in the corner. I won't be unpacking them for awhile. Thanks for the help! I appreciate it!" Stray thanks me. "No problem. That's what friends are for. Got it memorized?" I say with pointing one finger to my temple. "The time sure flies by! It's already 5pm. Would you like to stay for dinner?" I can eat. I'm a growing, young man, but after unpacking millions of items in her abode, I'd rather not enjoy dinner looking at the mess that was now hoisted all over the floor. "Nah, it's fine. I have a better idea. We could go out to eat. I'll pay." Stray's eyes widened. Was she feeling bliss or was she feeling anxious? Which? I could not tell. "Sounds like a plan. Just spare me a few minutes to get ready and I'll meet you outside of your apartment, let's say...in 5?" I nod with a grin. I give a wave and walk towards her door, opening the handle. I step out into the hallway and close the door behind me. For some reason, I started to feel nervous.
