A voice rung out.

Waking up, I soon realized it was Grim who spoke.

We both were in an enclosed box, it was clear we were in a coffin.

"Did the Headmaster, stop by?"

I questioned the monster who resembled a cat or racoon, though mentioning such comment might make him go into a fit of rage...

"No, what's taking him so long..."

Headmaster, Dire Crowley's the head mage of a prestigious school, Night Raven College, also known as NRC.

I'm entering the school by his request, due to students misbehaving....

To simply put it, I'll be keeping an eye from a far.

Or in other terms, playing 'Birdwatcher' is how he puts it.

He insisted on it non stop as well...

I did question the motive, since he has a sufficient number of staff, and gave responsibility to capable students to keep their respective dorm members in check.

As much as don't want to admit, it's really unreasonable, nor a very responsible choice of judgement.

And one more thing.

I'm not supposed to be here.

NRC's an all-boys academy, only attended by students who are chosen by the dark mirror.

Then again...

I also was brought here, by the mirror itself...

A man with short ebony hair and pale skin, his face half concealed by a mask similar to a crow, Headmaster Crowley...

"I thought I would be a student here? What gives?"

He questions the mage, on our way to the courtyard.

"You've misunderstood"

"?!"

"What I said was for you to stay, not as a student but as an accomplice to give Yuu some company as a fellow friend, I truly am gracious~ am I not ?"

"I'm not going to be this mortal's familiar!"

He misinterpreted, yet again...

"Gee, how do you expect to be a student if you don't pay attention."

I questioned jokingly, with a raised brow.

In all honesty, I find it admirable to go this far to make his dream come true.

"Fine by me."

"What do you mean 'fine by me.' do you know who I am? I'm the Great Grim!"

"Tell you what, making me a student in NRC, is the best decision you'll ever make, In no time I'll be a celebrity, I'll be rich, like super rich, I can buy a lot of canned tuna with that! I don't mind sharing my riches in the near future..... Just as long you let me attend, sounds like a good deal right?"

The headmaster simply shrugged at the monster's prattling, no longer paying no mind to it.

"Fuaa~ah. Finally, the tiresome ceremony ended."

"Even so, I wonder where the headmaster went? He suddenly ran out in the middle of the ceremony..."

They questioned

They hypothesized.

Flinging the door open was the said headmaster himself.

"Ah, he's here"

"Good grief. There's one new student missing, so I went to look for them."

He then turned to the student.

"Now, you're the only one who hasn't gotten your dorm yet. I'll take care of the racoon, so quickly go in front of the mirror."

Headmaster Crowley then took Grim under his wing, as the said 'Student' went in front of the gigantic mirror...

Back to where I was eleven years ago.

Standing there, naturally, everyone expected for it to speak...

It hadn't.....

Several minutes had gone by, only silence...

and nothing more.
