The dish of grilled chicken was presented in front of the student, now in his own tray instead of the monster's.
"What the, Hey that's MY chicke-"
"Grim."
I cut him off, a clear gesture to my tray of grilled chicken.
To which he immediately got the hint of, and taken as read Trappola and Spade followed separating from the situation.
"What a bunch of scaredy-cats, they knew that they don't stand a chance against us"
"It's funny, cause they handed the chicken, after we challenged them"
"Chickens, you get it right"
They laughed.
"Just so you know I did not intend handing this to you cause we owe it, nor a compensation you've asked. It's simply a compromise."
I expressed, stepping away.

He scowls, nearly tipping his tray and its contents over.
"So what? You're just butt hurt,
being called cowards."
"Like I'd be listening to-"
"It's quite packed today, you should probably find a seat before your carbonara gets cold."
Hinting that this situation was already over with.

"S-screw you, I don't give a damn about those null impressions of yours!!!"
"Yeah, you thought you did something didn't you? Cause it's really irrelevant to us"
Referring to my previous remark.
"Look, I'm gonna let you off the hook this time, but only cuz I got the chicken."

Waving goodbye, we continued to look for a table.
"Heh! Those guys were all talk!"
Grim cackled, sliding into his seat placing the tray down, very eager to dig in.
And as promised, I placed my dish of grilled chicken in the monster's tray.
"Tha...nks"
"Whatever, let's just eat. I even missed breakfast. If I go any longer without food, I might pass out...."
With understandable impatience Trappola took a bite.
