"But why are you doing something so weird in the first place?"
Trappola pointed at the buckets of paint.
"Because red roses at a tea party are the most photogenic I guess?"
Diamond crossed his arms accompanied with a sigh.
"I've also gotta color in the flamingos for the croquet match, so my hands are extra full right now."
"Color in the flamingos in too?! Your chores are so weird"
"So the tart that Ace ate was going to be used for the Dorm leader's birthday party. No wonder he was so mad "
Spade concluded, checking out the unpainted roses.
"Uh, no that's not it."
Diamond clarified.
"It's not, then whose birthday is it?!"
"No one's. Tomorrow is our dorm's tradditional 'Unbirthday Party' "
An Unbirthday Party...?
"The dorm leader choses a random day that isn't anyone's birthday, and we have tea party"
"The heck kind of tradition is that?"
Trappola sulked, crossing his arms
"Listen, you can worry about that later! Just focus on making the roses red!"
"Deuce, Grim, and you two can do it with magic, yeah? "
"W-we can change the color with magic?"
"I've never done anything like that"
Grim propped himself in front of me.
"We also didn't agree to this"
"No worries, it's fine! Just relax! we'll figure it out! We better hurry if we don't wanna lose our heads, though"
"......."
Helping out doesn't sound all that bad at all, we're in no rush yet.
And somewhat, the situation came to our benefit, to be specific.......
I'm sure it'll help score points for Trappola, who had yet to be freed, by participating in the dorm's
current preparations.
Glancing back at him, I joined the others.
Once again, it's up to him wether to partake in it, or not.
"Red, red.......There! Gaaaaah! It turned blue..."
Duece's said blue rose only swayed in response.
"Oh, color, change at my command.. "
"Take that!"
Being lit with excitement, on the possible successful result, it was only short lived.
For indeed it was lit, the bush's on fire.
"Gyaaa! The roses are on fire!"
