Feeling a nudge from behind, I turned over scanning the cluttered top.
One fellow borrower stood.
"Mallymkun..."
"Egh, Why's the counter so cluttered?!"
The borrower questions, their expression furrowed.
Glancing back at the others briefly, my attention returns to Mallymkun.
"Isn't that a good thing? More places to hide?"
"Sure, it is..."
"Though not very ideal when
scampering about, on a surface dusted with flour."
They say, hastily dusting themselves.
"So...where you headed?"
"Home."
Scaling themself up to the open window, the borrower paused glancing at the others.
Their eyes held withdrawned acknowledgement.
"Collared too, huh?"
Intrigued, I awaited for a continuation.
The borrower, looking below the window, took a piece of string attached to a hook.
Anchoring it between the bricked crevices.
"On my way here, ten other students got collared."
Checking, they tugged on the string multiple times.
Seeing that it was stable enough, Mallymkun threw the rope down.
"From what I heard in the middle of the berating, was that they broke a rule...?"
"Must be serious if they're gonna go that far..."
The borrower said scratching the back of their head.
"Alright, bye bye now"
Turning around, they slowly descended.
"No... My magic is nothing more than child's play when compared to Riddle's. He's on a different level..."
Clover says. My awareness, now back at them.
"By the way, Yuu, what's yours?"
"Your favourite food?"
"Trey can make the tart taste like anything!"
"Well... any kind of food in fact..."
Grim paused, as an idea seemed to be brewing.
"Hey...."
"Do you think he can make this tart taste exactly like that stone I ate from The Dwarfs Mine?"
With squinted eyes, the monster inquired.
"Stone?"
Diamond repeated, asking for elaboration.
"..... that's a long story..."
"Well, for another time then."
"..... It's gotten late. We should get going now, tomorrow we'll give Riddle the tart."
Shrugging, Clover puts some plates away.
