Starting back up at my journey.
I asked a few more spirits who were passing by, who all simply either shook their head at the said name or just apologized for not knowing at all where they were at, at the moment.
And the same goes for the portraits whose answers were similar to the questions I've asked of the spectres back home, vague, maybe unsure as well...
"I can't recall anyone with that name"
The senior staff stated, setting a bag aside.
"I was just on my way back you see, to feed my pal, speedy.
Scraps from the kitchen, but then again maybe there is a soul named Perri that I let slip.....""No worries, I understand"
"Alright, hurry home then, you're gonna get a cold."
So the shed it is then...
In the garden, the grass crunching beneath my feet, along with the ambiance the heavy rain added, I went ahead towards the shed.
Tpp
Tpp
Tpp
Running through the rain with my already soaked robe and garments.
I jiggled the shed's handle....
Only for it to be locked.
"..............."
"My goodness children like you shouldn't be out at this type of weather"
It was another spirit, glancing over my shoulder.
"Did you forget something?"
It assumed, peering at my clutched hand on the door's handle.
"no..."
"I just needed to borrow some buckets"
Without uttering any words the fellow ghost unlocks the shed.
Simultaneously, dropping it's belongings aside.
Click...
"There, don't loiter any more at this type of weather"
"Thank you"
Racing in, I gathered to get what I came here for.
The shed's surprisingly organized so it wasn't difficult to spot the buckets.
A quest to finding Perri was
unsuccessful.Gliding out, I turned to the spirit,
whose back was in view, locking up the door."By any chance do you know anyone going by the name Perri?"
"Yup, but I'm guessing those three sent you.... here?"
Probably, referring to the ghosts who resides in ramshackle.
"They probably told I'd be in kitchens then, I just stepped out this one time to throw out the trash..."
"Ooh, dear...."
It uttered with concern, it genuinely felt bad.
To which were not my intention to make him feel, besides, I already got what I needed....
"No, no it's completely fine, really"
Mister Perri on the other hand reached out from the pile of his possessions he sat down, fishing out a brolly.
"I was going to do this either way, so please accept this"
It's hands came into view handing the transparent bumbershoot.
"It's completely fine, I'm already soaked anyways..."
I commented, though accepting the umbrella out of its grasp.
The spirit just nodded, signalling that it insisted.
"I'm afraid I currently don't have the keys right now......"
"Does tomorrow afternoon work?"
Waddling back home, my attire soaked to the point where it interfered with my running, due to the weight it added on.
Trudging past the iron gate, making my way to the door swinging it open.
To my surprise, not only that Grim wasn't asleep.
But was helping out, to get the place upright, along with the spirits.
Though some cleaning's been tackled with, there's still so much to be done.
"Whoaaa!?
"What happened to you? I almost mistook you for a ghost"
Grim jumped from where he seemed to be dusting away, in the entrance hallway.
"Well, who wouldn't look like this if you had to fight against nature"
"Me, of course~ I'm practically dripping with good looks~"
"Right."
"Your finally back"
The ghost greeted, coming from the end of the hallway clasping on to a rag.
"Yeah, got what I needed. I'll pick the materials tomorrow in the afternoon, we'll just have to live with the leaks for now"
I casually shrugged, putting the pails aside
"No problems, you should get yourself in a warm bath immediately"
Sir B chimed, appearing through the ceiling
"Or you'll catch a cold"
Sir A finished for Sir B, looming over Grim as Sir C began to push me in the nearest bathroom.
"Don't worry, take as much time in there as you like miss Yuu."
Sir A states, handing me clean towels then disappearing elsewhere.
Before having the restroom to myself, I had to question Grim on a grocery trip the following day.
"Right, do you wanna tag along? I'm gonna make a trip to the grocery tomorrow"
"Aha, that's already been dealt with by the one and only Grim"
"And who said, I couldn't handle such simple tasks!"
Declared he, clearly proud of himself.
"Thank you, oh~ Great mage"
I remarked, finally shutting the door behind me.
Everything worked out in it's own
weird way, I guess....
