How do you describe feelings?
Is there even a way of describing in words how one can feel with total accuracy? I don't think it's possible. But writing is a way of venting, where you're the author of your own book, where you know exactly what any situation is like, where you and only you truly understand what you feel, where you know exactly how you feel about that one person. Writing helps you put down in words what you want to say to someone so that you can maybe try and tell them it in better words, without being misunderstood or if you're like me, horrible at talking about how I feel, writing helps you let everything out of your chest too.
You can write and either send the words to someone, or you can write and never deliver your letters. Right now I need to write. I need to try and plan what I want to say to a man. But he's not just a "man". He is my boyfriend. He is my lover. He is my best friend, although sometimes it doesn't seem that way, he definitely is. He is my unofficial husband (which I hope one day becomes official). He is my partner in crime. He is the black to my white; but sometimes I feel like it's the opposite way, like if I was the black and he's my white. He is the man I have truly fallen in love with. The man I want to wake up to until forever. The only one for me.
