I opened my eyes as an alarm went off, the bed rustling as the warmth I was surrounded in started to move away. I whined and tried to grab it, reaching out on the bed only to feel empty sheets. I heard a deep chuckle and the sound of rustling fabric, I peaked my eye open and saw Shane putting a shirt on, his pants sadly covering his ass. He turned around and I closed my eyes again before I felt a soft kiss on my head. I grabbed his face and gave him a peck on the lips, he chuckled as I opened my eyes and smiled.

"Good morning, Lieutenant Wolfe." I grinned up at him.

"Good morning, I was gonna let you sleep." He said, I sat up and stretched. I peaked and saw Shane's eyes drop straight to my chest making me laugh.

"My eyes are up here, Shane." I said, he tossed me a random shirt with a smile, walking out. "Thank you!" I called after him, putting the oversized shirt on before picking up my clothes and walking to my room. I got dressed in a black and green skirt with some ripped tights, a white and green frog crop top covering my chest.

I did my makeup in the bathroom before going to make the kids lunch, knowing Shane will forget. For lunches I made some fruit salad with some chocolate strawberries, yogurt and a sandwich for Zoe, lulu and Peter while Seth had 2 sandwiches, some pasta salad and an apple. Oh, and we can't forget some cookies for everyone.

I packed everyone's lunches away and got making some quick breakfast for everyone, seeing the MRE's and knowing they wont eat it. I will though! Cadets got me way too into MRE's when I was a teen. Shane past by and I stopped him, looking at the time.

"You might wanna wake them up soon, they're gonna be late for school in an hour." I told him, its almost like he forgot about them as he paused for a moment. I raised a brow at him as he snapped out of whatever daze he was in and nodded, going up the stairs to the little monsters.

After about 25 minutes they all slowly started to come down, dressed for school already, sitting at the table. They all looked at the brown packages infront of them as Shane came down, Tyler in his arms and Peter close behind. He gave me Tyler and I gave him some arrowroot cookies with milk after sitting him in the highchair.

"What are you waiting for? Dig in." He said making me stifle a laugh. The kids hesitantly opened the packages, taking out some packages and the occasional candy bar or match box. Shane smiles, he looks so proud of himself I literally wanted to grab his face and kiss him. Major golden retriever vibes from him. "Don't worry, I can get lots more of those. And I've survived off this stuff for months." He said making Zoe scoff.

"Like I'm really gonna eat all those carbs." Zoe said, making me roll my eyes. Shane's smile drops and he turned to them.

"Okay, ladies. Your mama -- is not here to take care of you now. So -- here's how it's gonna be." He said making my eyebrow raise. Really? Mama? "We're gonna pull together, all for one, one for all. If I say in, you stay in, if I say out, you go out." He said as Peter stood in his chair dancing making me smile, he was the cutest little boy.
