**Flash back when Y/n visited her mom at the hospital**

"I'll see you then later, my doll."

"I'll see you too, my Rindou."

The drive towards the hospital didn't take long.

When you stepped inside the building, you caught a whiff of alcohol and disinfectant in the cheap tiles. You asked at the front lobby of which room your mom was checked in and the nurse guided you to the main wing where the patient was situated.

When you stepped into the room, you saw your mom's fragile form laying on the bed.

Her usual warm skin had looked pale and dried out, along with her lips, yet she smiled widely seeing you stepped in and you fought every bit of your strength to not cry there and there.

"Hey.." You coed before taking a seat on the chair beside her.

"My, y/n. You look so gorgeous.." She complimented, her hands gripping at your cheek.

"Well, I inherited my looks from my mother.." You teased her, but her smile somehow falters..as she remembers why she had asked you to visit now.

"The reason I asked you to visit is there is something I wanted to tell you.." Despite the uneasiness of her voice, you can tell she was pushing more and more effort to be able to speak, "I've kept this from you for so long, because I didn't know if you are safe to know, or anyone else to know.." She sighs, every breath she took was an effort and every exhale came out from her shaky. "And it would be unfair if I'd left you, without letting you know the truth.."

"What is it?"

"I-I'm not your real mom, y/n." Her breath almost broke from telling you this, like she had exhaled all the weight of the secret she's been telling for too long. "Thea is not also your real sister.."
