Ran stepped into the infrastructure, the smell of disinfectant alcohol and cheap tile scrub chemicals engulfed in his nostrils.

He hated hospitals, the only thing he liked about it were the cute nurses.

"Good morning, Sir Haitani." One nurse welcomed him, and he checked in himself as a visitor with his fake pen name and went a few floors up from the right wing.

Walking along these walls has been like a routine for him, he'd judge the people who were old and sick, and he'd even noticed it had more people praying than the numbers he'd expect who visit in churches.

When he finally found the door, he peeked in the window, and sighed.

"Just as where I left you." He mumbled.

Rindou was sleeping beside you, head buried in the space beside your hand, where he was clutching yours, as if he was afraid you'd slip away.

Ran stepped in, not wanting to wake him, yet.

The bags under Rindou's eyes have been noticeable. Ran couldn't even remember the last time Rindou came home to the mansion...couldn't persuade him to leave you.

Ran looked at you in the hospital bed, a nuzzle on your nose the only thing to help you breath as you lay asleep. The bandage on your head was replaced with clean ones, a nurse would change it everyday.

It's been 3 months already, and you haven't shown any movements or any signs to tell if you're going to wake up.

The nasty smash on your head had to take you for multiple surgeries that left amounts of stitches.

Ran knew from the looks of it, and he wasn't stupid, he know once you wake up their is bound to have an issue..but in contrast to his brother, Rindou had strong trust in you, that you'd fight yourself awake.
