A miraculous turn of fate places Nathaniel "Nate" Sprayberry, a 16 year old high school student, in the crosshairs of a group of dangerous individuals and with his new found abilities, he must overcome these foes.
Nate grabs Delilah by her throat and holds her against the wall. Everyone is trying to calm Nate down but to no avail.
Joanne: Nate! Please! Don't do something you'll regret...
Andrew: Bro, relax. Atleast try to hear her out first...
Natalie: As much as I want her to die...I wanna know more.
Nate looks at Delilah, an angry look on his face.
Nate: You knew your boss killed my parents and you never said anything!!!
Delilah: I didn't know. They told us their names were Robert and Malia Brown, not Sprayberry. I found that out after I did a background check on you.
Nate: And why did you do that???
Delilah: Because after what Jonah did to you, one of my best students, I felt bad. I was told your parents died mysteriously and to see that all of that befall you...I just wanna help and make things right...
Andrew: So far, we know that Brad's Essence is water based and Evan's Essence is electricity based. And I would know because I defeated those idiots by myself...
Natalie: And Jonah has the ability to touch things and get his strength from them. He broke my wrist a while back with that ability...
Joanne: Plus, he injured Nate and kidnapped and tortured Andrew for 2 weeks. Thankfully, Nate and Andrew teamed up and took care of him. But the real question is...
Everyone looks at Delilah, who is still being held up against the wall by Nate.
Joanne: What is David Viernes' Essence?
Delilah: To tell you that...I'll have to explain in detail.
Nate: We have all day. So start talking.
Delilah: Okay...

Dr Dolph Freitag is in his lab, looking at the stone. His subordinate, Dr Schuler, is watching him.
Dolph: Magnificent, isn't it?
Schuler: Ja. What do you plan to do with it?
Dolph: I have one test subject that's been yielding results ever since he came in contact with a piece of the rock.
