"It's okay, whatever happened you can tell me. I'm here." The words came so naturally, it made him wonder how he managed to say that so easily.
*Niki's pov*
"I... I was on my way to our dorm minding my business when a group of guys got in front of me and... started saying... things to me. I tried walking away from them as fast as I could but... they... they pulled me back, making me stumble and fall... Seeing this, they just... started laughing and throwing insults at me... After they had their fun they started hitting me.... And that they finally left... and I came back as fast as I could. Some people looked at me like I was crazy but I don't blame them..."
I squeezed his hand lightly while closing my eyes, trying to contain the anger building up inside me.
"It's okay... Can you tell me where this happened?"
"It was just before the corner of the café next to the dorms... Why?"
"Just... curious." I gently wiped away his tears saying: "I will be back soon." I was ready to push the door open and go beat the shit out of the fucking assholes who did that to Sunoo, but he stopped me.
"Wait... Don't tell me you are going there!?" He shot up from the bed with a shocked expression, wiping away his tears.
"Uh... no, of course not..." I tried, once again leaving but he stopped me by grabbing my hoodie tightly.
"I won't let you do that. I don't want you to get hurt as well." He looked me dead in the eyes and I let out a chuckle.
"I think you should be more worried about them. I'll be fine, I'll just have a nice discussion with them and come back."
"Yeah, no. You stay here. There is no way I'm letting you get into a fight." Still holding my hoodie, he made an angry face but all I could see was worry in his eyes which kind of made me calm down a little... But I was still pissed.
"Fine. I guess it's their lucky day. But they better pray they don't cross paths with you again because then we're going to have a problem." For the first time that night, Sunoo smiled again. "If anyone bothers you, promise to tell me about it, okay?"
"Okay... But you better not get into fights because of me."
"Yeah, yeah... I told you, I'm not the one you should be worried about." He just rolled his eyes at me, going back to his bed and laying down.
