"I love you." These words escaped my mouth without me even having time to process them. It just felt so right saying them to him.
"I love you too." He said back without any hesitation before pulling me even closer and kissing me again.
That night was one of the happiest nights of my life. I still remember it vividly.
The last thing I remember is falling asleep in Niki's arms, feeling safe and loved.
The next morning, I was the first one to wake up. To our disappointment, It was a normal school day so we had to get up at 7 am as usual and start getting ready. In all honesty, I was a little surprised that school wasn't cancelled and that there were still no actions taken against the principal. But I just decided it must take some time until the police takes care of the situation and tried not to worry about it.
I gently shook my boyfriend's shoulder who started whining the second he opened his eyes.
"Come on, this is bullshit!" He said trying to go back to sleep but being stopped by me. "How come we still have school?? Isn't the principal supposed to be in court or something??"
"It might take the police some time to do it. Now stop whining and get up." I smiled.
"Ugh, I don't want to..." He kept on mumbling to himself as I gave him a quick peck on the lips which finally made him quiet. I was about to get up and walk to the bathroom to fix my messy hair but I was immediately pulled back into another kiss, much sweeter than the other one.
But we were quickly interrupted by a loud knock on our door.
Niki rolled his eyes and went to see who it was with an annoyed face;
"What now." Niki muttered as he opened the door, revealing our friends who, without any hesitation, barged in excitedly.
"Good morning to you too, Niki my friend." Sunghoon said to Niki with a bright smile, patting him on the back teasingly. "Hope we aren't interrupting."
Niki scoffed at the remark which just made me giggle.
"These two, I swear." I told Jungwon and Heeseung Hyung who were right next to me. "Anyway, what's up?" I turned to the others, waiting for an answer. What was all this fuss about?
"Okay so, good news! No more school for the rest of this week! The principal was apparently escorted by the police literally like 15 minutes ago from her office! And rumours are that he is going to jail for not only that video that we showed but also for other crimes like fraud! The whole thing is crazy! Everyone is talking about it!"
