Jimin collapsed on the ground, completely out of strength.
"Jimin!" Someone eased him up off the ground, and he lifted his head. All four dragon males gazed at Jimin with panicked expression.
"How does it feel.. to be free at last..?" Jimin asked, looking up at them.
"I didn't want freedom like this!" Suga grumbled.
"You can't leave us, Jimin. Please..." V cried out.
'I can feel my energy draining away. My consciousness is fading. This really is the end, isn't it?'
"I'm sorry. It was the only way." Jimin choked out.
"If only I'd been stronger.." Jin blamed himself.
"You have given so much, Jimin." RM said, his eyes welled up with tears. "It can't end like this!"
'Please don't blame yourselves. I want you all to be happy. I only wish.. I'd had the time to say.. how I really felt..' As darkness over Jimin, he reached out his hand. 'If nothing else, I want to tell him now..'
Jimin whispered the name of the one he love.. "V.."
"Yes?" His voice was more anxious than Jimin have ever heard it. He clutched Jimin's hand, and his face appeared in Jimin's wavering vision. "I'm here. What is it?"
"I love you. I'm in love with you." As the confession leaves Jimin's lips, V's eyes widens.
"There's still a way, Jimin! Entering into a Shared Destiny will save you!" V squeezed Jimin's arm in assurance.
'Shared Destiny.. If a human drinks a dragon's blood that is freely given, their lives can be bound together. It was what Jungkook originally wanted. And was denied.'
"Are you.. sure?" Jimin frowned at the dragon male.
"I am." V's gaze was calm and steady. "I truly love you, enough to tie my life to yours and be with you forever."
'I can hear his sincerity. It's the same burning warmth that fills me now despite the chill settling over me as my life force fades away.'
"Then.. I accept." Jimin smiled.
V pulled Jimin into his arms and held him close. "Close your eyes."
Jimin obeyed, and soon V's lips touched his own. But as the dragon male deepens the kiss, a coppery taste filled Jimin's mouth. 'He must have bitten himself to draw blood.'
Jimin parted his lips further to more readily accept the trickle of blood and held V tightly as he prepared to enter their Shared Destiny.

The moon shines brightly in the night sky, pure and clear instead of stained crimson like it was before. It's a reassuring sight.
V turned to Jimin with a smile as the shorter male joined him on the balcony. "Are you fully recovered, then?"
"There was nothing wrong with me to start with. I just needed sleep." Jimin sassed.
V folded his arms, apparently waiting for a proper answer. Jimin rolled his eyes. "Yes. I feel fine."
