The stranger encounter with the new student lingered in Jimin's thoughts over the next few days. The new guy seemed to be normal enough, yet something about him made the shorter male pause whenever he saw him.

In his distraction, Jimin didn't realise V was in the hallway until their gazes met.

Jimin freezed at the moment, 'I haven't seen him at all since I learned the truth. Suga seemed to be avoiding me too.' Jimin thought, looking at V.

V looked at Jimin, but then turned around and begun to walk away.

   "V, wait..!" Jimin called out.

The dragon male paused at the end of the hallway, "I'm surprised you want to speak to me at all." He replied with his back to the shorter male.

"I'm not.. I'm not angry with you, if that's what you are thinking. What's done is done. There's nothing we can do about it now." Jimin said, looking at the tensed dragon male.

'I can't very well repeat what Jin said to me the other day about V's motivations.' Jimin thought, not to make it hard for the dragon male.

V stood there for a moment, and Jimin thought he's going to speak, but then the dragon male continued on his way without a word.

'Ugh!! That could have gone better.' Jimin pouted, looking at the disappearing form.

"Is something wrong?" Jimin turned to see Jin regarding him with an unreadable expression. Jimin was not sure if Jin saw V or not, but he must knew things haven't improved between them yet.

"Everything's fine." Jimin smiled. 'I don't want him to worry about me anymore than he has already.'

"Hmmm.." Jin's eyes narrowed critically, but he didn't question the shorter male. "Do you have plans for the day? I believe you have today off from classes, yes?"

"That's right. I didn't plan to do anything special, though." Jimin shrugged.

"There's a festival today. I thought you might enjoy it." Jin said with a soft smile.

"A festival..?" Jimin perked up. 'That does sound like just the sort of thing to get my mind off of my worries.' Jimin mused.

"Is it safe for me to go though?" Jimin asked with a frown.

"As long as you keep the Mark hidden and stay close to me, there shouldn't be any trouble." Jin replied with a kind smile that made him feel warm inside.

"Then I'd love to go." Jimin bounced on his toes. 'I wonder what a dragon festival is even like.' Jimin couldn't wait to enjoy it in real.

After few hours, Jin and Jimin are seen wandering the town market, filled with the festival excitement. The smell of cooked meat filled the air. Jimin saw vendors selling meat pies, others with sausages, and many more things he could only guess at.

The streets are crowded with dragons, but Jimin could easily imagine it being a festival from his world aside from the overabundance of meat.

"What would you like to do? There's food, games to play, musical performances.. We can do whatever you like." Jin asked the shorter male, looking around the festival.

'He's really trying to cheer me up, isn't he?' Jimin thought, giving the dragon male his eye smile. "I'm pretty hungry. Let's get something to eat." The shorter male said rubbing his tummy.
