     it was the 13th of May and Thomas was antsy. She was sitting in the car that had come to collect her to bring her to sit and her jitters were through the roof. She hadn't acted in a couple months, almost a year so getting back into it was going to be a bit of an adjustment. It was only a read through of the script, but it still meant a lot.

She sipped at her iced coffee which was almost empty and soon the car was parked. She climbed out, grabbing her backpack and lugging it up on her shoulder and walking into the building where they all planned to meet.

She followed the signs until it came to a little gymnasium. She pushed opened the door and smiled at the few people who were there. Alice, Joe, Rhea, and Will.

"Oh my gosh!" Joe had launched out of his seat and came up to Thomas. "You're in it?"

"Yes. Meet Marley Briggs." Thomas held her arms open and Joe was ecstatic. They got settled in and Thomas was sat gushing to Alice about everything and Alice was listening. She was very patient with Thomas, and thomas was so appreciative of them for letting her be in heartstopper and for giving her the time of day.

Yasmin had walked in and immediately saw Thomas and gasped. "Oh my god! No freaking way!" Thomas giggled as Yaz came and tugged her out of the chair to hug her. "Oh my god i get to spend every day with you now-"

"Thomas?"

She turned around from her hug with Yasmin and Kit was standing there with furrowed brows but a smile on his face. "What are you doing here?"

"Take a wild guess. I don't think you'll be able to get it." Thomas teased and Kit came over and bent down and wrapped his arms around her waist and picked her up and spun her a bit. A yelp escaped her lips at the movement but she hugged back nonetheless and smiled up at him as he set her down.

"Please tell me you play Imogen's girlfriend." She tapped his nose happily.

"You got it."

Kit looked around and smiled at everyone before they sat down. Kit and Thomas had conversations about minecraft, due to Thomas having a bit of an unhealthy obsession with it.

"Im not even kidding, I slept for maybe an hour last night because I was up playing minecraft." She explained sipping at the remnants of her coffee which was just coffee flavoured water at this point.

"Yknow that's not healthy." Kit scolded her jokingly and she feigned hurt.

"Im shocked. I really had no idea."
