The next morning was an odd one. Thomas had cried and cried the night before until eventually she fell asleep with Kit in her bed.
Kit however, had stayed up for quite a while after that, thinking and processing what he found out about Thomas
He always knew Thomas to be such a sweet and lovely person so finding out that Thomas did such a mean thing? It shocked him. But as he thought about it, it's been a couple years since the incident so how can he judge her based on herself from a few years ago?
He couldn't.
So, by the time morning came and when Kit opened his eyes, he noticed Thomas wasn't there. The bedroom door was wide open and he heard the front door shut and a shuffle of shoes before he watched her come in with a drink tray that held her iced coffee, and he assumed to be a tea for him.
"Good morning." She mumbled, her voice a little hoarse and rough. She sat on the edge of the bed, as Kit sat up and leaned against her headboard as she passed him his tea, and a new vape for him seeing as it was her turn to buy them.
"Morning love. How're you feeling?" He asked sipping at his tea before hooking his foot under her arm and gently tugging it closer to him to indicate her to come up closer to up.
"Im ok. I woke up about an hour ago and decided I needed to be alone for a while so I went for a quick drive. It helped. Im sorry you had to see me like that, and I should've told you about what I did." Thomas sighed as came up and laid up on his chest as he wrapped his arms around her.
"Hey it's okay. We've all got stuff we'd rather keep hidden. Im not going to hold it against you, because it was years ago. Before I even knew you so. And don't apologize for crying and being angry. You're allowed to be angry." He kissed the top of her hug and hugged her tightly.
"Did you want to get the gang together for a bit today?" She asked, looking up at him with a small smile lifting her lips.
"Of course."
