That stupid Shinigami! He can't even stick around to see the hard work and dedication he puts into making this world a better place. He's judged and eradicated all those criminals from this world. Even now, as he looks down on his kingdom, he sees glimmers of the world he will build, full of hardworking and righteous people that he's judged to be fit. Above all, he will reign as a God, ensuring his world will last for the next millennia to come.

He can imagine it now, sitting on his throne, the love of his life by his side because, of course, they too, believe in him and his paradise. He can't wait to approach them and reveal everything as they're safely tucked into his arms. He hated being parted for so long, but Mikami was protecting him, the only thing that bastard was good at. Failing to get the name of that stalker following his love, then almost ruining Kira's perfectly crafted reputation by killing those three police officers. If Mikami weren't important to his family, he would've happily struck him down for those failures. If Mikami fails again, he will. His phone buzzed, and he reluctantly pulled it from his pocket. Mikami, what did he want now? They weren't meant to be talking to each other.

"This better be good," he said as he asked the phone.

"You need to watch Sakura TV," Mikami said. What? Why would he look at that crappy network, "Kira's broadcasting a message to the world."

"I did no such thing," he said, ending the call. He turned on his TV, grabbed his remote, switched over to Sakura TV, and dropped it back onto his desk. His anger boiled at the sight of a fake using his name!

"I am Kira. If this video is being aired on April 18th, at exactly 5:59 p.m., as I requested, then the time now is 5:59. 47, 48, 49, please change the channel to Taiyo TV. The news anchor, Mr Kazuhiko Hibima, would die of a heart attack at exactly 6 o'clock," this fake Kira said. He grabbed his TV remote and quickly changed the channel to Taiyo TV to find the news anchor slumped over on the desk. He changed it back, "Mr Hibima has consistently referred to Kira as 'evil' in his news reports. This was his punishment."

"But one demonstration alone does not serve as absolute proof. I will present you with another victim. My new target is NHN TV commentator Mr Seiji Komaizumi, who's scheduled to appear on a live broadcast. He too, has dared to defy Kira," the fake continued. He changed to channel 24 to find the man dead. He changed the channel back, interested in what this fake planned, but also horrified by their victim selection. Then again, is a man who condemns the good work Kira does, really innocent.

"Now that you've seen proof of my powers, you should have no trouble believing that I am Kira. People of the world, please listen to me. The last thing I want to do is kill the innocent. I hate evil and love justice. I've always thought of the police as allies, not as enemies. I intend to create a new world. A perfect world that is free from evil. If you agree to join me in my mission, I know we can make it happen. And as long as no one tries to catch me, I promise the innocent will not die." the fake said. This fake doesn't understand Kira's message. He's dragging down his image with this! Sending videos to Sakura TV and killing those who weren't criminals could send the wrong message.

"Even if you disagree with me, I only ask that you not publicise your views in the media. If you can do that, you will be spared. All you have to do now is be patient. I'll create a better world that we can all enjoy. Say goodbye to the world as you know it. Soon, we'll have a new world brought by benevolence and inhabited by kind-hearted, honest people." the fake said. No! This fake wasn't allowed to create a better world; that was his mission! His alone! His hard work has led to crime rates dropping and people finally feeling safe, and this fake will not take this away from him. They will not take his love from him.
